for fuck sake, all their b-sides have been better than most the album tracks. i don't understand why they aren't putting these tracks on the album and putting "beatles and stones" and "standing on the edge of the noise" and "the beat goes on" out as b-sides. The b-sides are much more original and have more inventive lyrics and chord structures (maybe not Two of a kind) but definitely this and world outside my room are, and i think Two of a kind is still better than most the album tracks - its a great stomping little tune. I'm presuming Liam wrote that one because thats what he's best at writing with stuff like "pass me down the wine" and "i believe in all" - its like he's trying to write Noel style anthems for the album which he can't really pull off. "the beat goes on" sounds like the Rutles, only difference is the Rutles knew they were taking the piss...

EXACTLY! Exactly my thoughts. I love this track. I don't think it will beat WOMR as the best bside but its looking like a very promising 2nd best. As for the writer, I'd bet its Gem. This is definitely his style coming through. Edit: Whops, that's a fail on the quote system, probably done by me: This is reply to GDforver, saying that, at least it's a new song  At least it's a brand new song though  I think it'll probably come after SOTS for me as well...unless it does something amazing Fucking hell, what a mess!
