So 9 games in, it's quite interesting. As expected, Manchester has become the English Old Firm. City are on fire ATM and United now know that they seriously hold a threat in the title challenge. At present I still think United will win it though, it will only take a big player tantrum to unsettle the city side and as stated on MOTD2 last night it's when City hit a tough patch will they prove if they have what it takes to win the league. Liverpool aren't doing as well as I thought they would be.. I could see them as dead certs for top 4 but home draws against Sunderland & Norwich in addition to defeats to Stoke and Spurs would suggest a Europa league race (again). Arsenal are exactly what I expected, either shite or brilliant with no inbetween. A bit like Everton, so I'm tipping them to finish 5th/6th. Although if Van Persie suffers an injury then it'l be curtains. Newcastle are doing very well and deserve it. Big test for them will be holding onto players come transfer window as other clubs could tempt with higher wages. Might be going St James Park in february (2 days after Noely G gig at metro arena). Blackburn are on the way down. They dominated yesterday and lost, true relegation material. Also think Swansea will drop. To be 2-0 up after 85 mins and lose is shocking and having been to the Liberty this season they looked like they wanted it but didn't have the quality of a prem team. 3rd drop spot might well be Bolton, the most boring club ever. I say Wigan will go down every year but they end up proving me wrong. Norwich could go either way. I hope QPR stay up as I like Neil Warnock and been Loftus Road twice and it's a great ground. As for my beloved Sunderland, it's been a frustrating 2 months. The win this weekend isn't going to be the start of a big revolution or anything but it gives us breathing space. Villa game next week is vital. We should be okay come May but it'll be a shame if we don't progress from last year. 10th was quite lucky though. If Bruce starts 2 upfront more we'll have more of a chance. And finally, JT is a c@nt! do great things....... you're on it. |

You see, IMO, what got Gervinho sent off was the fact that he struck Barton above the neck. It's happened a lot in the Premiership. Even if there's only minimal contact You can't say Barton is a thug because he play acts which most players in the Premier League do. Ok, maybe not everyone is as bad as Loius Suarez but too many people do. Anyway. He's got nothing to do with Newcastle anymore. Oh yeah, he was at the Noel gig last night. Loved it apparently. |

RTG is a constant meltdown. There's usually more threads about Newcastle than Sunderland... Aye its shite, theres alot of mags on there though. Some good threads on it at times, stories about away days etc but 98% is all bullshit. I never have nor ever will sign up to it, too many mongs |
