Amazing City vs Chelsea match. Wild finish. Samir Nasri where have you been all season??? Too busy spending your money? Not today! Tevez with a great play. Who would have thought? Together!

What a pile of shite. Throwing away a 2-0 Lead like that!!! Coates' goal was godlike, on the other hand In fairness, your defence can't repel firepower of that magnitude!

1. Arsenal have a top 4 finish almost in the bag now 2. Arsenal could easily finish 3rd. 3. Mind the gap, Spurs! 4. Liverpool and Newcastle have no chance at 4th 5. Ha, Chelsea

In fairness, your defence can't repel firepower of that magnitude! It's obvious we're missing Agger. Wasn't impressed with Adam, Henderson, Downing, Carroll, etc as usual. It's frustrating, it truly is. One would hope you got the Admiral Akbar reference. But yeah, the four you named out really aren't worth the money you payed. The thing is, I could have told you that before you bought them. I'm no fan of "King Kenny" (Newcastle fan, how could I be?) but he's far too defensively minded and has an awful habit of over spending on overrated British players. Look at the turn around Newcastle have made in the last few seasons and see the players that have been instrumental this season, Ba, Jonas, Krul, Colo, Tiote. Last season we had a very British based team this season its French, Dutch, Argentine and Africans and look how much they've cost us. Ba and Cisse for just over 10 million. I really don't think KK is the right man for the job. nl4e. Look where Newcastle were 3 seasons ago, look where we were 2 seasons ago, look where we finished last season. Now look at where we are. Do you honestly think we care about finishing 4th this season? Anyway, I'd much rather be in our position. If Van Persie leaves/gets a serious injury ye're well and truly fucked.

Here's a fact for you: If you take away all the goals that Van Persie scored for Arsenal in the PL they would be 11th in the table.
I sincerely hope he finds a team that he doesn't need to carry.

8. If Chelsea, Tottenham, and Liverpool didn't implode to a greater extent than Arsenal, we would have had no chance at the top 4. Is Wenger a genius for getting this season back on track? Partially. But a lot has to do with how bad the aforementioned surrounding teams have been.
9. Podolski is joining us in the summer, which will help RVP out

11. Podolski has never been a good player outside FC Cologne/national German team.

It's going to take a huge Arsenal slump and a huge Chelsea resurgence to knock Arsenal out of the top 4 now.
With Man City and Chelsea still to come, it's not guaranteed yet, but even losses in those two games wouldn't be enough to knock us out.

FA Cup is interesting... Have to beat Everton to get to Semis v Liverpool and currently sandwiched between the two sides in the League..
Anyones guess how it will all go, but I have faith in Sunderland AFC for once and its all down to Martin O'Neill!

Holy shit. Great goal by Crouch.
Not getting ahead of myself, but if this result holds and Arsenal beat Citeh in 2 games time, dare I say a remote chance at 2nd? Wow.

Nah, no way will City drop 11 points in 8 games True. And Yaya just scored. I'm getting greedy. If you offered me 3rd place roughly 7 weeks ago, I'd laugh at the prospect but would greatly take it. In all honesty, one has to wonder if AW should win manager of the year if the following 8 games go according to plan and he clinches 3rd. You'd have to say he'd deserve it, if so.....
