Arsenal. Are. Fucked. Cue Wenger's interview at the end of the season: "Cmpared to where we started from at the beginning of the season, it could have been worse. Finishing 7th is therefore like a trophy."

Regardless of where Arsenal end up, and regardless if RVP gets the golden boot (he should do, mind), he is the player of the season. There is no doubt about that now.

via the commentators, I just learnt that 10 yellow cards will get you a suspension now. Can someone tell when that rule changed? Wasn't it 5 once upon a time?

One game for five cards, two for ten. That's what I thought. The way the commentators said it made me think the system changed. Glad it didn't. I hate change. (The Championship, et al? Fuck that. It's still Division 1, 2, and 3 as far as I'm concerned...What a stupid name change )

Fulham better start looking for a new keeper, Schwartzer is thinking of retirement soon. Also a question about free kicks, is it the same in England where if a player moves before the kicker kicks a ball they get a yellow card straight away?

anyways knew Sunderland would draw today, it was just obvious. next week is massive. Wigan throwing away 2 points at the end today gives us a great oppurtunity to widen the gap with 3 points next week.. love the drama of football wow, cant believe how far we've come since i wrote this.. 3 points! we are now in Feb 17 points clear of Wigan.. when a new manager comes in its common that the team has a surge for a few weeks, but for Sunderland to become the #1 form team for 2 months straight (including the xmas peroid) is truly amazing, MON is an incredible manager ;D Beating Stoke yesterday was the biggest win so far (yes bigger than City) to go the the britannia over the years has been a durge but to win in shit conditions which if anything suit stokes anti-football style is tremendous. i also have a hate for Stoke and we've done the double on them now next season could be special... (and i never thought id say that)

Got so bored that I did stop watching and expected there to be a goal when I turned back. The Premiership is going to be won by Man City now. The FA Cup will be a final between Spurs and Everton and Liverpool will win the League Cup!

35 points, 8th, 4 points off Liverpool. Just beat the media darlings Swansea home and away, 14 points off the relegation zone. Well well well it would appear I was right! hahahhaahaa This seasons Blackpool LOL What a massively disrespectful tag that was.

People say this season is the weakest Premiership campaign for a long time. Whether that's true or not, I don't know. What I do know, though, is that it's been the strangest and most exciting season in a long time.
The traditional top 4 of Man Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal, and Liverpool is being more than threatened by Man City and Tottenham. And Newcastle are making a push, too.
In most seasons, by February, we normally know the top 4 - for the most part. Not this season.
It's a very real possibility that both Arsenal and Chelsea don't finish 4th, due to Newcastle. Although, I do expect Arsenal to pip both Chelsea and Newcastle to it.
If Chelsea do finish 5th, or, somehow lower, that will be a very big story; it would be much bigger than Arsenal finishing 5th. For obvious reasons.
And Man City have continued to destroy the game with money, but should lose out to Utd for the title. And Tottenham have 3rd clinched.
And who can forget: Man Utd 8-2 Arsenal, Chelsea 3-5 Arsenal, Man Utd 1 -6 Man City, Chelsea 3-3 Man Utd
Really has been a strange season. Bring on the final 3 months!
