It is also a song of Buffalo Springfield Maybe it's a new way of admitting the rip-off, Beady Eye should've called The Roller "AKA...Instant Karma"

Just waiting for Liam to refer to the band as "High Flying Turds" in interviews.

I think that High Flying Birds will get him enough notice. Every HFB tweet will mention Noel to those that look.
And frankly twitter trending is hardly gonna be his main form of promo. We know he is being talked about...that is the most important thing.

lol not sure but it could be that some people are tweeting "Noel's high Flying Birds" instead of Noel Gallagher or Noel Gallagher's High .... you know what i mean? after all, the name of this act is Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds. stupid decision by Noel but that's the decision he made. You think that every decision that Noel has made over the past couple of hours have been a mistake. lol well... let's be honest here. He should have just made this a proper solo project and launched it as Noel Gallagher, period. other than that i don't think he's made more bad decisions. Another thing is that i don't like some of the stuff he announced in his press conference. That doesn't mean they're bad decisions. For instance, the fact that he plans to sing Oasis songs when he starts touring. I don't like that but is it a bad decision? no, on the contrary, it'll make things easier for him(when it comes to attracting concert goers). I also hate that he said that his album wont be a guitar-hero type of album, because i take it as there wont be that wall of sound Oasis was so famous for. Again, that doesn't mean it's not the right thing for him to do. Maybe he can't produce another Live Forever/Hello/Morning Glory/etc type of song so he goes for what suits the material he's able to produce now a days. Finally, i hate that he's releasing 2 album because generally that means neither album will be truly great. I hate that one of the albums is dance/electronica genre oriented, but maybe that'll translate into chart success so it could be good for him and his band's career.

Hasn't it been confirmed now that the tour starts on the 23rd of October? If that's the first date they're performing, then the tour starts in October, 6 days after the release of the album. I see no reason for confusion here.

Really. This long post? Do people get the use of smileys? I haven't even read your post. Just random that you came back so hard on a joke. He's got sand in his vagina. It's a constant irritant. Could YOU take a joke if your reproductive area was constantly in an itchy state? I didn't think so. Plus - he thinks he's on the IGN boards.

Taken from twitter: Liam Gallagher SHITBAG Hahahaha typical Liam response. But somewhat understandable. Just wish that he'd understand that he's taken the last few months throwing shots at Noel. It's only fair if Noel stated his opinion and things from his viewpoint.

Given that Noel has kept a dignified / frustrating silence for so long has probably alienated alot of the casual fans so that when / if he does a press conference to announce an album it could be a bit over the top and embarrassing to make such a big fuss. Overlong "dignified" silence followed by a press conference. Sounds weird to me too. Shame on you captaincrunch
