When I first saw that potential track listing I thought "Everybody's on the Run" would be a terrible leadoff track, but listening to it now it could work fully fleshed out and sped up a bit.

David Sardy is associated with the first album. Is this what we wanted? well that depends.... if he has the material that Oasis had for DBTT, it's not a bad thing. However, if his stuff is more similar to what was released in DOYS, then i am prepared for the worst. |

if it is indeed true that one of the albums will be a "dance" or "experimental/psychodelic" project... that is a huge disappointment but then again, that is why he's having two releases i guess. i hope Noel isn't doing this just to have chart success. Obviously that would be the purpose of a dance/electronica album, which is as gay(in every sense of the word) a genre as i can think of. You do realise that this electronica isn't the stuff you would see in the charts? It's not like he's gone all Lady Gaga on us. That album won't be commercial AT ALL. hope you're right man. |

The one great thing about hearing some of the demos already is that we know that there are at least 3 or 4 pretty good tracks on the first album.

You do realise that this electronica isn't the stuff you would see in the charts? It's not like he's gone all Lady Gaga on us. That album won't be commercial AT ALL. hope you're right man. What do you mean hope? It's The AA he's done the album with, not David fucking Guetta!!! Have you ever listened to experimental electronica music? You should download a few AA albums. High Flying Birds isn't the band. It's the Album title! Noel Gallagher and the High Flying Birds releasing a self named album. It's probably the backing band's name then. |
