From the member who exposed Alans sacking before it hit the presses , here's today's latest forum post on CNS:
-Terry Kirkbride joined oasis to rehearse new material and demo it as soon as Alan was sacked
-When they went in the studio Oasis had used Noel on all drum parts, untill Zak Starkey was called in to finish them off
-The band are still in the studio and will be for the next few months
-there will be no new material released before glastonbury, though there will be a few gigs in the coming week before the festival
-its not decided who will drum live for oasis though its thought that Terry kirkbride will.
-all is, aparently, going great
L4E can't confirm any of the posts contents.....

That sounds about right, although from what I've heard, Noel had barely been playing any drums and Terry K had been demoing alledged solo Noel stuff months before Alan departed (they'd even done a couple of little gigs).
Word is that the demos sound great, especially the Liam penned material.
Personnally I think if they go for Starkey it'll be a purely business based decision, and I hope they don't.

I seriously seriously doubt they'll do any gigs before glastonbury that would mean theyd announce the gig about a month before it was happenin which has gotta be bollocks, i know someone whos daughters going out with Andy Bell and they did say there will be gigs but not before glastonbury

i know someone whos daughters going out with Andy Bell and they did say there will be gigs but not before glastonbury Does Idah know about this? Personally I think they will do at least one gig b4 Glasto, as they've not played a gig for over a year and if they are playing with a new drummer then surely they would want to play at least one proper gig with him before they headline at Glasto?

You really think he's amazing? I saw him with the who the other week, and he just came across as a middle-age freaky looking dude who was mostly just hitting the symbols. And he had a lot of symbols. It's all a matter of opinion though. My vote is for the Terry.
