this was posted on INET today :

Just heard on Virgin Radio that Noel stopped by the studio & confirmed that the new album won't be out til the end of the year but they will release one maybe two singles before then..
I know this is not new news for most of you- but thought I'd post it anyway....

I think every single fan would ideally want the album sooner rather than later but knowing the band I think we all know it is going to be the album of the year- if they make their 2004 deadline!!!

Otherwise it'll be album of the year 2005... ;D
