i know it'd be wiser to wait until the next album is released yet i cant avoid to have a word about andy b: ruling out the band splitting up after the tour 04/05 i think it's very likely that he will release a solo album instantly if his songwriting efforts get the same or a similar reward on the upcoming record...just compare the status he had in his other bands to nowadays. gem certainly became noels helping hand and even liam seems to play a major role as far as creative inputs are concerned.. wasn't it noel himself who said in an interview that andy was a bit disappointed when AQP was the only track that went on the album (??)
(but w/out having any insight in the band it's all celebration of speculation..)

i like your tone, chocolate st*rfish. man, i'd like to talk to andy bell himself about all this. i bet if his songwriting doesn't make it on the next oasis record in any significant manner he will find another outlet. i sort of doubt he would leave the band but i do think he wouldnt be opposed to being in numerous bands at the same time. i seem to remember him wearing a buffalo springfield t-shirt once. that band had musically incestuous members all over the place in all sorts of bands. i think i'll go to stockholm and find mr bell and idha. i think they live above a pizza place;

i really loved a quick peep. but i really dindt like thank you for the good times. it was too samey and dull. ive never really heard many more of his tunes. but i dont think he writes in an oasis style, were as gem does. i think HIABP is a real oasis classic.

I think that TFTGT hadn't been placed on the album just because the sound was really different from the other songs...a lot of different guitars, it was BHN-like imo!

I don't think the other band members would like it if he did go ahead with a solo effort. Remember the heat when noel said he'd do solo stuff? I think he even said it wouldn't be good for the band. I think it would be more productive for him to just focus on the band, and he might just come up with a good enough song to make it to a single. But yeah, its all speculation, and it all comes down to how happy he is.
