I don't get how appearing on one of the most popular talkshows in the UK to promote a single can be considered a 'new low'.

If they don't do enough TV promo, people complain. If they do do TV and it's a program someone doesn't like, they complain.
There is no winning.
Anything that'll get them out there is a good move. It's a valid talk show with some good caliber of guests @ times.

Liam and Alan Carr chatting during the interview is going to be very awkward to watch

Lets just wait before panning it. Liam was on the Big Breakfast many years ago in 2000, he doesnt normally do shows like this but if it helps to get a bit more publicity its all good. Should be a funny interview.
Looking forward to seeing it. Its not like hes appearing on Loose Women or anything

I'm more concerned with Liam's hair honestly.

Oh Christ really?! Well there are Pros and Cons with this.
Pros - This will get to alot of people in the UK watching & a different listener in touch with the Music. They will play TBGO. No doubt will be some comedy element to the interview.
Cons - The band are really doing the rounds! They don't need to do it surely. TBGO could be mimed.
Overall I agree, it makes me cringe to think of Liam on this show. (Full stop)

Let's be honest it's brilliant publicity for the band! It will get them out there a lot more and we get another live version of The Beat Goes On, not bad at all tbh. I do agree though, that is the last show I'd expect to see them on.

I hope there isn't an interview. Alan Carr is disgustingly unfunny.

Good long interview with Liam, Gem and Andy. Plenty of piss taking. Liam now singing Beat Goes On little bit like Morning Son on Abbey Road with noticeably less rasp than normal.

I'd say that interview, despite being slightly awkward at times did the band no harm at all. Good performance as well.

i thought the interview was good, liam was funny and cool, he hasnt done any chat shows in years, non oasis fans might have thought he was a bit of a knob, but from seeing this he came across as a decent guy. seems happier than later days of oasis

The difference between the Liam Gallagher of Oasis and the Liam Gallagher of Beady Eye is like night and day. I don't know how much of it was a facade but he was a moody, serious bastard for the latter years of Oasis.

Always hated it when Liam just sat being interviewed and said hardly anything - much better when he's relaxed like this
