Merch was cheap, $3 for poster, $30 for hoodie and $20 shirt. They were selling a lot too as a couple sizes of shirts sold out. Dig was ok, better than say Vaccines opening for Monkeys. Liam seemed appreciative of all the love. Gem really seemed into it too. Was a nice change and higher energy than last few Oasis shows I have seen. |

I'm going to write up a review as well. I also have about 50 pictures and a few videos that I'll be putting up as soon as I can. Brilliant show. My ears are still ringing.

I'm really glad to see the reviews coming in are all great, I wouldn't expect any less from this band. Roll on Toronto show I can't wait!

Best show I've ever been to. There were a lot of assholes trying to get up front and picking fights with the people who wouldn't let them up. I got the LAST shirt they were selling amazingly. It's funny now that Noel's not around how much more attention you give to Liam. I practically forgot the rest of the band were there. I also met the chick and her husband who does the oasis fanguide blog.. nice one.

What an amazing show it was! Definitely worth the drive from St. Louis to see Liam for the first time. They basically played every song they've recorded besides World Outside My Room, Across the Universe, and their new unreleased B-side, but I wouldn't really count that.
I couldn't find the merch booth before the show, I did afterward. Shirts sold out while I was pretty far back in line which sucked. I didn't even think they were that great of shirts but I still would've gotten one, and my friend wanted me to get him one too.
I'm not a big poster guy but the posters they had looked awesome, and they were only $3, so I really wanted one. They sold out too though.
I did end up getting a hoody, which isn't that great but hey it says Beady Eye on it and I had to get something. I also bought The Dig's album for $10. I had no intention to get it but they were there signing stuff and talking to people. I talked to them for a while actually and they were really cool. Figured I'd support dudes who give enough of a crap to do all that.
Overall a great night. Liam had some great one-liners between songs. My favorite, "You play the baseball around here, yeah? You guys got beat. You're supposed to put the ball on the floor and kick it around."

Yeah, I was shocked at how cheap the merch was too, especially the poster. Normally I wouldnt buy one, but $3 you can't beat. It was great to see them so energetic in a small venue like that. Was a good change from the normal Oasis tunes we have all heard many times before. Perfect length of a concert too. Great night.

Glad to hear the show went extremely well. Still a bit pissed that I couldn't make it. But I will be there for the Noel show or when Beady Eye come back to promote their next album. Whichever happens first.  Hope that this a good sign for the rest of the US dates. |

I just got home on the train.
Liam and especially Gem were well up for it. As I'm sure everyone has read the various reviews by now, I would just like to add that Gem seemed really fired up and was fun to watch. I think Andy might need some of what he's having.
My girl managed to get the chick to hold 2 shirts and a poster under the counter for after (she said don't tell anyone, we said we don't know anyone). I liked the shirt because it's got the 4 dates on it, actually nice shirt too for a 20 I thought. She said the band only provided a hundred shirts. Based on the line afterwards and the comments here, I'm thinking they need to up that.
