Bwilder, I'm an English teacher in Massachusetts, too. What town/city do you teach in? For the record, "The Death of You and Me" is right. But tell that to Jim Morrison: "Till the stars fall from the sky / for you and me" would just sound awful. A lot of grammar rules are forgiven in poetry and lyrics
