By now, we’ve accustomed ourselves to the fact that Oasis is no more (and possibly never to be again) and despite the aching absence in our hearts for the brothers Gallagher’s collaborative creative drive and endlessly entertaining public antics, at least Liam’s new project as Beady Eye is keeping us satiated in our thirst for Britpop. Over the next few months, Beady Eye is set to play stages all over the world, but only a few of them are in the States.
That said, fans out there who want a chance to see the band (made up of Gallagher, Andy Bell, Gem Archer, and Chris Sharrock) in a private setting when they hit New York City on June 22nd for a Live On Letterman performance at the Ed Sullivan Theatre, need simply enter to win two free tickets via the box below by entering the names of the four members of Beady Eye, as well as your own email address. You will also receive a $500 travel allowance, which you can put towards air fare, if you’re flying, gas if you’re driving, or whatever the hell you want if you’re local. The contest will wrap by midnight on June 14th, and a winner will be selected randomly.
Five runner-ups will receive copies of the band’s newest album, Different Gear, Still Speeding. Good luck!

I never understood the point of trivia competitions like this one in the digital era. With Google, you can find the answer to anything within seconds. So essentially, the competition is basically down to the luck of the draw (like the official BDI competition currently running). So what's the point of the question then?
