Any songs that you grew to love after initially not thinking much of them?. Any songs you used to love but now dislike?.
For example mine would be DYKWIM as a grower. I fucking love that track now. It's 7 minutes of pounding chaos that makes you feel invincible. A shrinker would be DLBIA. From the start I rated this song lower than Wonderwall, CS, SMS, SA etc... but still liked it nonetheless. Now I couldn't care less about it. Bores me to tears to be honest.

Growers: Fade In Out - Didn't like it by heart, but now it won me over and Liam singing is what makes this song, weee faaaade innnnnn ouuuuuuuttttt. High Horse Lady - Used to ignore this, but it has growed on me every time I listen to DOYS, It gives me a feeling of being alone in a desert at night. The Nature of Reality - The lyrics are meh, but now I like the heavy blues sound, the solo is ace and Liam singing is cool.
Shrinkers: It's Getting Better(man) - It was great, but now it's meh. A Bell Will Ring - Used to be my favorite from DBTT, but now it is too ordinary for me. Morning Glory - I thought it was great at the time, now it just another song IMO.

Growers Underneath The Sky - A nice little tune that i didnt liked at first Fade Away - It was a good one as originaly recorded(and re-recorded for the Help Album) but the version of Berlin '02 blows my mind every time. The Turning - I originaly liked more Bag It Up and this one was good but when I heard it on vinyl with headphones i was sold for this one. Shrinkers Headshrinker(no pun ) Columbia - Its to damn long Its Getting Better (Man!!) Like columbia its to damn long but it is way over the top like almosy every song in BHN(Bar IHITIK and Girl In Dirty Shirt) Waiting For the Rapture - I had it as my favorite of DOYS but it fell and the alternative on the bonus disc is better than this one. Let There Be Love - Could have been massive but it lacks something

Growers: Lyla - completely hated this song at first listen, but love it live. Mega! Most of the b-sides at various times
Shrinker: I'm Outta Time - generic now when I hear it.

Growers -Born on a Different Cloud live, Noel's outro is the most amazing thing I've ever heard.
-Be Here Now, it could use another verse, but the chorus is mega -I Am the Walrus, I never really liked it at first, but it just gets better
Shrinkers -Stand By Me -Let There Be Love -Go Let It Out -Don't Look Back in Anger

Grower: Gas Panic. I knew there was something special about it when I first heard it but it didn't hit me until much later. It's got an appealing psychedelic darkness that takes time to seep into you (through your curtains).

Growers: -Hindu Times. Didn't like it at first, but I like the energy it has now. -Talk tonight: found it boring at first, now it's beautiful -D'yer wanna be a spaceman: same -Flashbax: I vaguely knew this tune, but then rediscovered it, think it's brilliant now. (whistling solo, anyone? ) -I've got the fever: same, was really happy when I (re)discovered this unknown song. -Round are way: love the drum parts and the joyous feel this song has Shrinkers: -Lyla: thought it was amazing at first, had no idea about album chronology, I thought it was one of their classics, now I still like it, but not as much as I used to -Morning Glory: think it's a bit too noisy now. -Who feels love: for some reason I also thought this was a classic when I first discovered Oasis, I wonder why that is now. (perhaps because it was on the FTM CD?) It's pretty fair to say that after being a die-hard Oasis fan for more then 2 years, I started to love all their unknown underrated songs more as their classics. This is also logical, because I played their classics sooooooio many times, that sometimes they started to bore me. And then I started to (re)discover their less known stuff!

Growers Stop Crying Your Heart Out. Didn't like it mostly because of Liam's vocals, now it sounds like a fine song It's Getting Better (Man!!). Really caught my ears at my second listen and this sounds classic now. I Will Believe. One day I found myself humming this song when I haven't had heard it for ages. Liked it ever since. Slide Away. I thought it was too generic at first. Luckily I found the honesty inside it. Where Did It All Go Wrong. The music video was cool and made me like the song itself after watching it.
Shrinkers Lyla. Terrible. The outro drags on for too long. Whatever. Too long. All Around the World. Not that I hate the song in any way; I just got tired of it after too many listens. Morning Glory. Same case with above.

Oh yeah, true, I also didn't really liked Slide Away at first, thought Noel's version was much better. Fortunately I changed my mind DYKWIM is another one..

It's got an appealing psychedelic darkness that takes time to seep into you (through your curtains). Agreed. Didn't like it at first (too long, to psychedelic/dark) but really loving it now. Love the FMT version as well! I also find it strange that so many list MG as one of the 'shrinkers'. I love that song!! Brilliant guitar intro & then Liam kicks of with 'All you dreams are made....' with that voice of him! And then 'What's the story? Morning Gloryyyy" which everyone can shout along! Awesome!!

I think the problem with Morning Glory is the production really. (For me it is, anyway) The studio version is really, really noisy. I rarely listen to it. I personally prefer the live versions of the song.

I prefer the live version of almost all Oasis songs ;D Really, I rarely listen to their albums, only to my B-side collection and acoustic versions etc. All the other songs I listen to on Youtube or I play the bootlegs I have

Growers mucky fingers - I used to hate this song but now it's one of my fav on DBTT Part of the queue - I liked this song at first but never really hit me like now one of noel's best in the latter days bring it on down - it was the only track that I might skip from DM but I like it now most of the b-sides grew on me with time and even surpass the classics
shrinkers Lyla - I hate it now it's just too predictable and dull stand by me - I like it but it was one of the classics on my book and it's not anymore it's gettin better man - I still like it but it's just toooooo long and repeatitive

For the Shrinkers, I would have to go with ABWR. Liked it originally, but it didn't take long for me to loathe it. IOT is up there, too.

Growers: Most of SOTSOG, TNOR (still not a great song, but it's enjoyable), Roll With It (used to think of it as an average song, but I simply love it), Keep The Dream Alive (one of my favorite 10 Oasis tunes). Shrinkers: Most of DBTT and HC...both albums feel too generic and too little "Oasis" to me. I used to like Songbird, TUTS, Lyla, POTQ or ABWR...but I rarely listen to anything from the two albums nowadays, KDTA being the big exception. I also used to like Slide Away and C&A a lot more when I first heard them, but unlike DBTT & HC I still listen to them occasionally.

The Morning Glory Dave Sardy Mix is the best version of MG you will ever find, it was remastered by him for that movie Goal!, you can clearly hear all the instruments, he took out the loudness.
