Was mentioned on another board, but its something to think about.
So apparently there's news out that Peggy is demanding Liam attend Noel's wedding. The issue is the wedding is the day of the Chicago show.
If there's truth to that, obviously the pending tour is thrown for a loop as I doubt any dates are made if he goes to the wedding.

He won't go to the wedding for many reasons, but that being the most logical one. We all know Liam's disdain for America, but simply walking off now would kill his ambitions once and for all. He won't do it, and he certainly won't do it for the brother he hasn't spoken to in the last 2 years. The US tour remains in tact, and I will still see him in 3 weeks time.

I agree with you for the most part, but Liam has proven time and time again that touring nor promotion matters. He did it in this country multiple times before. He's also got a built in excuse if he patches things up w/ Noel before the wedding. It is a potential issue until hes actually here or Liam says otherwise. It also kills nothing if the shows were postponed/cancelled. They'll come later down the line and everyone on here will snap up tickets just like the last time. Its also not going to kill anything in regards to commercial success/failure. To be clear: I dont think its going to affect the shows at all, its only a potential problem for them if Liam patched things up and attended the wedding.

Noel should just get married at the Beady Eye gig. Win win.

Liam doesn't have disdain for this country. He's spoken many times about a desire to move to NYC and if I remember correctly, he and Nicole were looking into buying a house in the Adirondacks. Anyway, this is all tabloid nonsense. Beady Eye won't be canceling any gigs over this.

This isn't so much an "issue" as it is a "non-issue."

This isn't so much an "issue" as it is a "non-issue." This No way is Liam going to be placing Noel above BDI in priority. And he probably shouldn't He sometimes had pretty shaky work ethic with Oasis...but I always thought he was stupid for it. I've been impressed with his commitment to BDI. Hope it continues

If Noel really wanted Liam to be there, he wouldn't have planned the wedding on the day of a Beady Eye gig.

If Noel really wanted Liam to be there, he wouldn't have planned the wedding on the day of a Beady Eye gig. Little bit harsh. How long does it take to plan a wedding? How hard it is to plan band tours? I honestly think the timing is coincidental here.....

in my experiance it is usually the women who plans the wedding and the groom just turns up, i really cant see Noely having planned this, he might of picked the honeymoomin destination as he will stand a really good chance of poking her in the bum if he chooses an amazing place

Just naming possibilities But do you really think Noel would want Liam to be at his wedding? Don't think so.

i really wouldn't care if he missed the Chicago gig and they ended up cancelling the show. It would obviously be for a very good reason lol Hey, as long as they show up for Letterman.... that's all i care for, really.

I doubt there will be any cancelled dates....and didn't that rumor of Peggy demanding stuff come for the Mirror?... Also the June 18th date could possible be a fake date to throw off the press who knows....

Noel said 18th of june on the TalkSport interview She means he could have been lying so that the press will be expecting the wedding June 18th and it'll turn out to be the 16th or the 17th or something. Less media intrusion. It's entirely possible. It's not unheard of for stars to spread misinformation to throw press off.

i think the wedding is between the 13th and 16th of june. liam will be at the aisle of white on the 12th, can then get to london and be on his way to chicago by the 16th-17th
i really think the 18th is a smokescreen

Everyone has weddings on Saturdays. I don't see why Noel wouldn't, especially if Sara was planning it, which is almost certainly the case.

If Noel invited Liam (and possible also Gem and Andy) and they said they'd come, then it's not impossible that they kept those couple of days free for the weddign. He even kept days free for Man City matches, so why not for Noel's wedding?
