Thought this would be a good topic to discuss.
I, personally, am hoping for Oasis-like songs. Would be a bit saddened because I don't see why he would have left in the first place then, but it's the sound I've grown to love from Noely - and he's damn good at it. In second comes non-radical experimental.....I truly am fearing a heavily influenced AA output, though.

In no way are those soundcheck sounds experimental. They are standard acoustic Oasis ballads.
I'd like something like the Chemical Brothers Falling Down remix if anything.

Sigh. It's not 'experimental' per se, but it's in no way a traditional Noel song - hence the phrasing 'not radical'......I was trying to differentiate between the DLBIA's and the If I had a Gun's, but whatever. Nitpick if you must.

I want the melodic dreamy feeling of Stop The Clocks, Record Machine, Falling Down. No stompy ones like Mucky Fingers, GOYHHL or WFTR (not that these are bad tunes).
And some rocker, Full On-style.

I'd love for something along the lines of Live Forever, Cast No Shadow, Champagne Supernova and Don't look back in anger but we all know that's never gonna happen. |

Personally I'd welcomed an album of LDSMDs, POTQs, FDs and WDIAGWs. They don't sound like Champagne Supernova or Live Forever and we know Noel's go it in him to write the right songs for his own voice. Thing is, he probably knows he has to be forward thinking to not get slated in the press so I don't think we'll be getting anything like what we've heard before.
