It's been sometime since i have logged in and posted in this forum, but i can not take it anymore. We need some news. I realize my whinning will not some how magically force the news we are all waiting for to come, but for some reason i feel better venting to the good people of these forums.
I come to liverforever everyday and lurk. I keep waiting for the day i go to the front page and see it. Although, i know from past releases sometimes Webby gives us a heads up in the forums prior to mainstream.
I have to say i did not place much stock into Beady Ey. After i heard the album i will say it was not horrible, but defenitly far from the quality i had a glimmer of hope for.
When the boys split, i knew Noel was going to take a break and it would be a while before we heard anything from him. Honestly if anyone deserves a break, the most talented individual since Lennon deserves it. For anyone that may question if my statement surrounding Noel being the most talented individual of our generation is true, i believe Noely G will change your opinon with this release.
Being a die hard Oasis fan i can honestly say i started making excuses for their alblums as soon as Noel's contributions started dwindling. On many occasions such as the nights WPTWOTWOMS, RM and the first glimpses of IIHAG were first heard by us in these forums. I thought wow, there is no reason not to put these on an Oasis record. Noel is stock pileing for a solo release.
I can not wait for the day i log back into these forums and share in the excitment of a Noel release with this fan base. It would be great if we all could gather in one place and listen together for the first time and party. (Although i would fear some rather unpopular forum members might be crucified) Either way when it comes down, i will crack open a cold one and look forward to hearing what will be the most epic alblum of our time with all the awesome people in this forum.
Webby Thank You for Live4ever
Everyone else i hope to see you very soon to celebrate!
Perhaps we could all meet up in Milwaukee lmao!

There are two bands in my life that I love. One is Oasis. The other is Guns N' Roses. Fair to say I've read a LOT of things like this over the years (prior to 2008) over a few forums.

I wouldn't put hopes on songs like RM. I have an inkling he's going to go the AA experimental route. Hopefully it's the former. Time will tell, though.

What if this rumoured AA collaboration is true and the critics go mental for it, saying it's complete unexpected brilliance from Noel and not Waiting For The Rapture style dad rock? I would like to hear a finished version of Record Machine but perhaps with an AA twist thrown in. Hoepfully, AA have taken conventional written tunes, like Falling Down, and given it their own twist. Now I don't want it to go as far out as the Falling Down mix but far out enough so we know it's still mainly Noel - find that perfect balance, know what I mean. Surely this would whet anyone's appetite no?

Noel let AA go nuts on their FD mix.
I think with Noel involved it would obviously be quite a bit more moderated. But they did some really cool things with the arrangements and instrumentation.

I don't expect to hear anything until after the wedding and honeymoon. Probably (hoping) early July at the earliest.

I just checked noelgallagher.com/ and the last update was 5 days ago on june 14th. The website is still blank tho. (I know the screen dump is in Danish but you'll probably get it anyway)
