Where have all the TBGO fans gone? Finally realized it's not as special as The Masterplan? About time! This is so annoying. The Beat Goes On is great on its own way. Why do you have to compare it to another song?

Why do you have to compare it to another song? I'm not comparing, I'm just referring to a poll done between the two songs in the immediate aftermath of the release..... Look, I like TBGO. But the criticisms are so apparent and ring true. People have claimed it's like a kids song, I can see that. To me, it's like a slowed down version of "It's a Small World After All" from Disney. It's also repetitive and has absolutely no dynamics. It's basically BDI's Record Machine. It has that same vibe, but it's so much poorer. Sure it has better lyrics, but let's remember RM is a demo. RM pisses all over TBGO, though, for me. Good song, to be sure. But a classic that should be ranked along side the best? Nah. It had potential to soar and be something special, but it missed the mark.

RM and TBGO are nothing alike, thats your bizzare comparison. I just listened to the disney song and can only conculde that you have been smoking crack. I knew it was a problem in america but didn't realise the political scientists were getting in on the act.

Morning Son because it emotionally draws a line under Oasis for now.
It concludes a great album and that song just revels in the triumphance and success of the album that 'the talentless gobshite singer' wasn't supposed to make with Liam sort of accepting that Oasis is over and had to be so and making peace with Noel in a way: ''We'll never know unless we try...you go your way and i'll go mine.''
And also Millionaire and For Anyone cos they're fucking beautiful tunes, especially For Anyone.
And Four Letter Word just stomps the fucking shit out it.

You must be hanging out with the proper 'indie' crowd, they probably wouldn't like it on the strengh that it sold more than 5 copies and wasn't recorded under a table in a student house with friends playing kitchen implements as accompaniment. Too true!

In all honesty there is no best song on this album. There are some halfdecent but that is about all.
Mix in Outta Time in the list while listen to the Beady Eye album. It is almost sad to hear how much better Oasis were. I hope Noel will do something better.

Or better? I can find about 2-3 songs that might be just as good as I'm Outta Time, but I can't say that there are 6 or 7 songs that are better than I'm Outta Time.

FLW, Millionaire, TR, BTL, TWOMR, TBGO, TMS I don't mind IOT tbh, I have nothing particulary against it. I suppose its because it feels to me like it could have been huge but falls short.

I disagree with you on a couple of those being "better" or more enjoyable to listen to. But to each their own I guess.

My favorite song (not on the album though) is Two Of A Kind, for the album... I would say my top three are (not in a specific order), Millionaire-love the sound of the guitars on it, very catchy and great lyrics (which took me forever to finally hear them correctly ), Three Ring Circus-love the way Liam sings this one (espcially the chorus), Gems backing vocals, the guitar solo, it's got that good rock feel to it I like, And The Roller, it's catchy, great lyrics, and guitar solo in it is great.

For me it's definitely between Millionaire, The Roller and The Beat Goes On. If i was pressured to pick one Id probably just pick The Roller if only for that last verse after the solo, gets me every time

Millionaire, I didn't like it at first, but it growed on me and has a nice melody.
