No way... We have to put up with a few years of crap every so often. And we normally get the best music around times of bad governments (Tories )... and what's going on at the moment in politics? The Tories are in power... So if the trendline stays the same, we're looking to some good music... We have a few good bands starting to break into mainstream at the moment like Kasabian and Biffy Clyro, so who's to say that Rihanna and Bieber aren't on their way out to make way for rock bands?

Rock and Roll isn't dead, its just in a coma! You look at the crap thats dominating the charts at the moment, 99% of it is all generic pop/rnb/dance shite that really won't last. Rock music will soon be back, it just needs 1 new band to do something a bit unique or be good enough to capture everyones attention. As much as I personally think they sound like Green Day fans covering Blur, Liams favourite new band Brother are about the closest thing do doing that at the moment. Their album comes out in July and if it breaks through in the same way The Libertines and Arctic Monkeys did about 8-9 years ago, then I'll be happy. I just want some proper fucking music back in the charts instead of all this cheesy electronically programmed tosh... I'm totally in 100% agreement with you LEEZY

What about Mona? I think they got the talent to take them to the top but they have to get away from U2 mold they got themselves into
