Anyone heard of these? If so, do you like them? I think they are fantastic. They were pipped to the Mercury Award by The xx but I prefer this over The xx anyday. I think they might have a big future ahead of them. They originate from the Lake District town of Kendal (wonderful place by the way) in Cumbria.

This is their third album, Smother, and it is being streamed on the guardian website below. Certainly a candidate for album of the year.

i only heard one song by them last year, it was on one of free cd's (from Mojo i think) and i qiute liked it. i missed when they played in holland last time, but am going to see them at london calling in 2 weeks. lookong forward to it.
