andy and gem have wrote a couple of songs, which noel wishes he had wrote himself

the album is gonna be 10 songs, proper rock n roll, there's no fat on them. No ballards or string sections on there. he said imagine bob dylan's Highway 61 Revisited crossed with Their Satanic Majestics Request with a bit of stone roses thrown in.

song titles? stop the clocks, which he has played a few times and another one he has wrote called "Lord Dont Slow Me Down". But he said he cant say anymore or he'll get in trouble.

the rest of the band wanted Noel to produce the album. It was Noels idea to get someone in with no connections.

He says Liam said "what the fuck do producers do anyway? sit there, drink coffee and tell you how shit you are"

he says Chris Martin is a genius, but is no competition.

BRMC and the Vines - he says they are top live but the music is shit! The strokes second album is dog piss!

he says the darkness are like a cat deeley band, along with the flaming lips. Try and play a gig without some 20-foot fucking vegetable jumping up and down behind you!!

if Paul weller packs it in - he wont be far behind him.


So there it is, not too much info, though he did say a few times about the new album, and the fact they have most of the songs demoed, and they will just say, there's 15 rockers - do something with them!!
