After watching the broadcast on C4 last night of the Japan gig, I thought, "That looked like an official video"... then I thought "Maybe it is... Maybe it's the next official single?" Opinions on this?

I don't think they will release a cover as a single. In Oasis they never wanted to do that either. As Noel said about My Generation cover: 'How can you release it as a single pretending it's yours, singing someone else's words?'
Nah, don't think so.

The full video might be released but it was a Chairty Single already. It won't be a single or a B-side imo now.

how could you not realise that it at been a download already for charity? They couldn't exactly then release it themselves !!!
it didn't help the recording of the song with them being ill at the time.

But I like physical copies of things. They could easily release another vinyl of it to fill up the box with the proceeds going to charity again...

Everyone one users someone else's words , unless they put the dictionary together. Is there a Video out there of Across the Universe , on i -tunes or something like that, I'd be willing to pay for it , I like the version they have done. CHEERS Keith.

It's not that good either. It was a nice gesture for charity. Certainly not an I Am The Walrus, but it was a good gesture for charity. Just wish they had done something original with it, instead of doing an equivalent of a karaoke number. And no, I'm not saying that because it's the Beatles, before anyone goes to that tired argument.
