Not a big fan, but I looking forward to the album. Hope they have a little new touch to their sound. I got tired of the last album kinda fast.

Yeah I liked their 1st album. They are a manufactured group though.
Oh & In the song Naive he doesn't mention Nebraska btw! Hahaha

they were fucking amazing at the hippodrome the other night, even if there was a million screaming girls. New songs sound good as well.

How'd you like that and eskimo kiss were done definitely. How'd you like that was a particular standout and has single written all over it.

Thanks man, K+! Doesn't sound too bad, but I'm still afraid the album will be on the same level as Konk...not as II/IO.

I loved the first kooks album, dead catchy, second was so-so, a few decent songs. But they have a farily unique sound, due to the singer, and some nice little guitar riffs (naive) A new album from these guys has got to better than half the shite out at the moment!

Just saw them in Paradiso last night again. They played some new songs and many classics from the first album. They'd play "Seaside" on encore, but replaced with "Jackie Big Tits" for the line "Amsterdam, I never knew so well". It was great, and a lot of fun. I really enjoyed the gig.

What do you guys think of their new tune?
I quite like the style of the song, but it lacks a good melody. It's not on the album anyway.

Three or four good/great songs. Petulia is the one I like the most! The others are Taking Pictures Of You, How'd You Like That and Junk Of The Heart. Don't think it's gonna grow on me. But I gonna give the album a few more spins.

yeah i'm not really rating it, there's 5 decent songs for me, the rest are the definition of filler.

They made a grave mistake by omitting the quasi-epic"The Saboteur" from their new album. Hopefully, it becomes available as a stand-alone single or B-side in the future, and by that, I mean a good quality digital rip. Not something you can convert from Youtube.
