Not a huge fan of Beady Eye but WOW what a performance.. Really blew me away. The whole band played fantastically and Liam sounded unreal. They stepped it up in the U.S. spotlight. Nice one.

Gallagher Letterman history: Live Forever 1994 Morning Glory 1995 Don't Go Away 1997 I Can See A Liar 2000 The Beat Goes On 2011? (or Wigwam? ) edit: Or was DGA only on Leno?

US fans:
How big a deal is this show? Its probably been mentioned but i can't be arsed to trawl the forums.
Obviously Letterman's actual show gets a lot of viewings. But will the odd person wathcing go into work the next day and go "Did you see that Liam Gallagher's new band last night on Live at Letterman?" Or will it just completely pass under the radar?

kinda a shame the setlist was soooo short, i was really expecting a full length gig when the foo's played it last month they did 22 songs of course i didnt expect beady eye to do that many tunes, biggest problem there being that they dont even have that many tunes but i was kinda expecting the standard 16 song setlist still an unbelievable performance though and well worth stayin up for

Liam did a great job, and so did the rest of the band. I really enjoyed the gig, and it kept getting better and better for each song! Wigwam was the higlight for me, absolutely stunning!

thank god they didn't ruin the epicness with For Anyone. That could've been disastrous

WigWam, KFAD, and TMS were clear standouts. And I agree with the above, say what you want about SOTEOTN (and I will - I don't care too much for the studio version), but it really works well live.
Somehow Oasis always sounded better live at their peak performances, no matter how good the studio versions were. Could the same be said about BDI? I'm thinking so after this.
Also, how good is Chris? Phenomenal.
This has me even more pumped up for Saturday.

Liked Nicole tapping away, perfectly in time with Chris, during Wigwam.

This on dvd whilst everyones out the house on the surround sound would be awesome. hahha if its anything like all the others it should be posted in way better quality although tonight, i had the live stream up on my 40" telly with 2 huge speakers and it looked and sounded amazing as it was so ive no complaints quality-wise, its like half a second out of sync but that can easily be fixed with vlc

surprised by how good this was! only thing that would've been better would've been SOTS at the end, and maybe Man of Misery. No need for WUD/TRC/FA/TOAK/whatever else they skipped; almost better that they just stuck to quality over quantity. Liam sounded amazing, band was tight, couldn't ask for much more than that. Can't wait til they have a second album out to improve the overall set.

Watching the live replay now. I'm supportive of Beady Eye and all, but I don't think Liam sounds as good as some of you are making out. I mean he sounds a hell of a lot better than the DOYS tour, but he's damn snarly on some songs. Especially The Roller. Now TBGO is a whole other story! He sounds good! So far hit or miss for me.

Great show!! Watched it twice, Liam really nailed it and the whole band seemed so into it. So different than the last Oasis show i went to.

Fantastic!! I was blown away! Wigwam and Bring The Light were especially incredible, I think! Liam sounded excellent throughout! Definitely downloading this gig once it's available.
