Anyone else secretly not mind these guys? Definitely a guilty pleasure for me. Gonna check out the new album. I enjoyed the first, 100% pure cheesy indie pop/rock.

Didn't know there was something wrong with The Wobats I'm not a hardcore fan or something like that but I always liked their tunes! Happy indie

i still think they're underrated. i saw them in 2009 and it was a big fun. they've got the same soul as the cure.

I have their debut album. Hardly listen to it. But it's not bad. Nothing amazing, but always a light fun listen......

I saw them three days ago at a festival called Groovin the Moo, they were headlining and the crowd was super wild for them. I don't mind them but I didnt realise how popular they were.

Anti-D is the worst song I've heard in a long time.
First album was good though.

Anti-D is the worst song I've heard in a long time. First album was good though. I haven't heard it, but surely it can't be worse than Dangerous Animals by the Arctic Monkeys?

Woeful lyrics to Anti-D, but I can see it being a festival singalong. Decent tune but horrific lyrics. It's hard to smile when you're as flattened as a pan-c-c-c-cake

Just listened to Anti D. Cringe worthy lyrics aside, it doesn't sound too bad (whereas I can't even stomach to listen to Dangerous Animal by the Arctic Monkeys).
Think I'll dl the album tonight.

Dangerous Animals wipes the floor with everything The Wombats have ever done, musically or otherwise.
The Wombats, good grief.

Dangerous Animals wipes the floor with everything The Wombats Coldplay have ever done, musically or otherwise. The Wombats Coldplay, good grief. Corrected. In all seriousness, Dangerous Animal is THE worst song by the Arctic Monkeys bar none. It's atrocious. -- Techno Fan is also really good. Time to listen to the album in full now

I really enjoy this album.
1996 is another favorite on it. It's much better than their debut, which was solid, mind.
