I don't know much about 3D....but don't you need a 3D screen to be able to see it?

Why do so many people have 3D glasses just lying nonchalantly around the house? Inquiring minds want to know.....

What I want to know is: Why this sudden 3D hype the past 2 years? 3D glasses have existed for over 30 years!

What I want to know is: Why this sudden 3D hype the past 2 years? 3D glasses have existed for over 30 years! with technology now it's easier to produce 3D video, i'm assuming. or everything goes in cycles, soon black and white will be popular again.

My 3D glasses I nicked from a cinema in Berlin don't work! Bollocks.

Why do so many people have 3D glasses just lying nonchalantly around the house? Inquiring minds want to know..... When I went to Saw 3D in the cinema I got to keep the glasses. Didn't do much during the movie (probably just bad use in the movie itself) but it's not doing anything for this either.

3D = Marketing stunt. Luckily it has improved over the years.

What I want to know is: Why this sudden 3D hype the past 2 years? 3D glasses have existed for over 30 years! Marketing. HD has been flogged to death and is now standard with new TVs, so they're hyping 3D to encourage/force people to go out and spend another £1000.
