As it went to show the teams coming back out, you could hear the music they was playing as they was coming out. It was "The Beat Goes On"
Must admit was shocked when I realised it was that. Strange choice I think

well they didn't come out to it but it played as they were preparing to come out, the Toon come out to a local song.
sure sign it could be the next single.

Yup, played it in the tunnel as they were coming out for the second half, makes sense that it's the next single.

I was at St james' when everton played them, the announcer must be a big fan as he was bigging them up beforehand and played the roller, for anyone, kfad and flw during the breaks etc

There's usually 2-3 Beady Eye songs played at a match at St. James' Park and there was always a few oasis played before that (more Be Here Now songs than you'd think. I can remember It's Getting Better Man being played not too long ago).

when we beat wolves the other week the beat goes on was played at the full time whistle!

Four Letter Word was played by SKY on last nights game and i think SOTEOTN wasplayed by ITV at the Spurs v Madrid game
