People in the media and general public will believe Noel's explanation (assuming he gives one) over liams but he will build a stock answer as Liam and the guys have having been questioned on the subject in pretty much all interviews. I reckon he'll be complimentary towards BDI as he will want to avoid a war of words as much as possible and concentrate on the album and tour.

Americans want grungy people, stabbing themselves in the head on stage. They get a bright bunch like us, with deodorant on, they don't get it.

I always wonder how DOYS would have sounded fully finished. With the two tracks that were due to be completed when Liam left to get married included. Tbh I'd view that as where the psychedelic, abby road dream went..

I think Noel will talk about them as little as possible but when he says something it will be slightly positive (like he'll say that he likes BDIs music and wishes them good luck). He'll also keep saying that he walked out because of Liam but wont go into details there.

And I wouldn't be too surprised if after his first couple of interviews Liam/BeadyEye/the break-up will become off-limits topics. I'm pretty sure that journalists are already not allowed to ask him any questions about his kids...I remember an interview where he starts talking about Anais and the journalist mentioned that he thought Noel didn't want to talk about this and Noel goes 'It's OK when I talk about it I just don't want YOU to ask about it ;D

He definitely wont talk as much about Liam as Liam is talking about him. And not even because he is 'nicer' or because he wants to take the high road but just because he is more media-savvy.

And about Noel's so-called honesty in interviews: he was never particularly honest IMO. Sure, sometimes he was very honest but definitely not always! He's just really eloquent and really good at making interviews go the way he wants them to.
One of the things he often did when he didn't want to give his opinion about something was starting to talk about Liam... like 'Oh I don't mind that, Liam fucking hates it though...' and then he went off telling a funny Liam anecdote. And the interviewers were never bothered because they loved hearing these stories.
I'm wondering what he'll do now that he can't use Liam to manipulate interviews any longer ;D
