being heavily connected to Manchester I felt it my duty to reveal the unknown details about noel gallagher's new album. word came to me about the lies and bad information being spread and thus i have to step forward. let me assure you lads that i have the connections to Manchester and Camp Noel. you may choose to believe me or not, but time will reveal all. here are the facts that you may or may not have know. thank me later.
Peter Cornish-Barlow posted an incorrect track listing. however, he did get three songs right. record machine, stop the clocks and come on its alright ARE ON THE ALBUM. or i should say they were recorded once again for the album. Noel recorded 18 songs for the album and those were 3 of them. he does want to release bonus tracks / b-sides in addition to a full album but he has not made any final decisions as of yet. oasis fans also asked about the acoustic soundcheck songs they have become familiar with. 2 of those songs from the soundcheck bootlegs were also recorded. what of the older songs? 1 song which i have been asked not to name but you all know the title of was also recorded. Noel's album is MOSTLY ACOUSTIC in the spirit of his live solo shows these past few years. Think LISTEN UP the way he has been peforming it live. Psychedelic is a correct word that has been thrown around to describe the NEW recordings.
What of the rumours started about Noel vs. management and the infighting betweenst them? UNTRUE. completely false info made up for unknown reasons. do i hear "publicity stunt"? perhaps. Noel has been in LA for final mixing and to rework a few songs, but not because his sessions were a disaster. YOU WILL SEE. THIS IS NOEL'S BEST WORK.
genuine info about release- single Sept album Oct with tour to commence and follow but no stops in Milwaukee USA planned. The US has only promotional appearances planned and a couple gigs for LA, NY, and Boston, while UK and Europe will get the full Noel treatment.
do you want the album title? i might tell you later depending on your reaction to me sharing this news.

i will offer you a carrot regarding the album title. it has the word DARKNESS in it and it is four words long. it is a phrase that Noel has used somewhere and he really likes. it describes his feelings of being out of Oasis. that's all i better say.

Noel sure does have a lot of whistle blowers in his camp...no wonder he is at odds with his management? I love these threads.

my mate in Noel's camp has authorised me to give you the album title to show you this information is serious and genuine. Noel is not pleased about the false rumours being started and posted on UK news sites. therefore i am stepping forward to provide genuine info. i will announce the album title in a separate thread.

And if the whole of Manchester knows, then the whole of London must know as that's where Noel and his management actually live and work. It's beginning to look like it's just the members of the this forum who are the only people who don't know about Noel's imminent solo album.

I fully expect a thread like this every three days until the album gets released. Otherwise I'll be disappointed.
What a fun time to be a NG fan!

There is absolutely nothing there that hasn't already been speculated. To sum it up:
"Most of the songs will be acoustic" - All the unreleased Noel songs we've heard so far are acoustic
"The album will be released in September/October" - already rumoured
"The infighting rumours aren't true" - we'll probably never know the truth about that
"Couple of gigs in the US but most of the tour in the UK and Europe" - pretty obviously since his main fanbase are there

Thanks to Webby! for starting a thread, as a thanks I am going to put my neck on the line now and just let you guys do your own searching with what I give you....... this band - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Hours_(band) once featured a member called Mike Moore, find out about him and dig up what he has been doing for the last year!! Find out more on him and it might bring you closer... To clarify my information on my Sand Band story too, as I know he doesn't play for them anymore so I can say this now. Bass player Peter Wilkinson who was once and now back with Cast, I know him! He WASN'T him who told me, but someone close to him that I got my information from. If any of you have The Sand Band album, check the credits! Plus David McDonnell himself has confirmed The Sand Band story now anyway. Also to clear this up, I don't know Alan McGee. He has messaged me a couple of times on FB, but I don't know him. He has NEVER given me any info, the news of him listening to a Noel Solo record is COMMON KNOWLEDGE as he has been quoted himself on it.
