"Robbie Williams Live at Knebworth" is the fastest selling Album in UK's history. The recording of the concert was released right after Robbies tour ended. Up until Sunday sales numbers were coming in at around 120 000 copies. Robbie even is outselling the live album "Familiar to Millions" by Oasis according to EMI.

120'000 copies? that doesn't make it the fastest selling album in UK history. not by a long way
unless it means copies sold per day? i doubt that though

its not about selling records its about being real!! ;D so are you sayin that a artist would rather be"real" then sell a shit load of records and be rich. dont believe that sorry. to quote mr noel " its a business" you make records and record songs, yes, because its somebodys life song dream to be a rock star. but also u want the life style which is where the MONEY comes into it. just my thought ;D c ya people ;D

cant disagree all im sayin is that it doesnt mean anything to us, being outsold might mean smth to oasis but they're hardly skint and robbie is more charts orientated. we have to admit oasis will never be as big as they used to be and williams is bloody popular nowdays!

robby is a pop star who wants to beat oasis for the sellout stakes but he will never be oasis and he knows it!
sure, he got the all round family crowd (cliff richard style) but he never got a dedicated audience and he knows that!
that will depress his huge ego and he shall need loads of therapy which shall cost millions.
poor sad guy! over the hill and the next album shall be real shite, even worser than the last one.
his record company will then do a "maria carey" on him after very poor record sales.
pity the poor fool, dont wish his demise, he will do that himself!
shortly.

its not about selling records its about being real!! ;D You could look at Linkin Park for example instead working out in clubs, other places, and be founded. They were put together in a studio. Only great new band right now is AudioSlave though people are talking about Jet also. Robbie Williams scares me a bit He's a bit odd and a bit both ways Live albums are not that good unless you are there.

RWilliams scares me a bit He's a bit odd and a bit both ways that's a far more interesting statement than you might notice at first. coz i'm wondering if that may be a common feeling around other guys there.. i mean how is he perceived overseas? tho it seems that people barely know him at all.. or is he just one of many (entertainers)? confusingly, rain's point is one of the reasons he's adored by the media and the loads of people/females that buy his records

One thing I know is that Robbie was AND is an Oasis wannabe...
He jumps on the band wagon when anything new comes in.
And did anyone forget to mention that Whats The Story Morning Glory remains the biggest selling BRITISH album ever...
Well Take That Robbie (excuse the pun..)
