They chose Don't Go Away as one of two Oasis classics? "I think everyone will be very, very surprised." Exciting times

They chose Don't Go Away as one of two Oasis classics? "I think everyone will be very, very surprised." Exciting times In my view DGA destroys Wonderwall, in fact I don't even think it's close. I'd place Wonderwall at somewhere around my 52nd favorite Oasis tune. DGA is the song that turned me from a casual fan into an all out obsessed worshiper of the band. Not meaning to change the topic here, so you can ignore this guys, just had to be said.

^ DGA is epic! Noel made it so much bigger when he played it @ RAH gigs too!

Well, this article was written by a brazilian site, and Don't Go Away is pretty big around here, I just heard it Friday on the radio....

DGA is gold, for me it is like if Liam had sing The Masterplan instead of Noel.
DGA in Brazil is actually one of Oasis most famous songs.

I totally love Don't Go Away, it is the only BHN song produced normally, Liam's vocals are epic and the melody is timeless. I'm just surprised it is known as a big hit - most casual listeners know DLBIA or LF, but DGA is a bit less known here, I guess. Good to know that it is more famous in Brazil

"I think everyone will be very, very surprised." Exciting times Before we get too excited, from the interview it sounds like Russell hasn't heard any of the new tracks yet.

nice to see dga get some credit. it's one of noel's best ballads, and one of liam's best vocal performances.

DNGA Yeah it's nice to see a song off such an underrated album getting some recognition

DGA, CS, DLBIA, and Wonderwall get regular airplay here in Michigan on the Alt Rock stations. So it's not too far-fetched to believe they are in the same league.

I agree that Don't Go Away pisses all over Wonderwall (which I personally dislike), but "Do Not Go Away?" Class

Anyone know when the LA premier of "Arthur" is? movie comes out April 8th which means, the redcarpet would be sometime late this week. If Brand attends surely Noel, who is still in LA might attend aswell.

Noel has been in L.A. for a couple days already...I'd be shocked if he was still there two weeks later to make it to the 8th.

Russell Brand still had a radio show in and did 2 shows in a row with Noel as an in studio guest. From what I remember Noel had been there a little bit before the first radio show. He'd already had a few little adventures around town that he'd mentioned as well.

When Oasis did DBTT & DOYS in LA, it was four weeks. If my calculations and contacts serve me correct, Noel arrived in LA right around the 16/17th of March. April 8th is the actual theater release of "Arthur", the red carpet premieres for flix, usually take place about a week prior to their actual theater release

Well I just asked and the people from the studio told me there will be no premiere in LA, only in NY.
