If someone has spent months and months writing/recording/preparing an album, i dont think its fair for a little bit of e-fame to blog about supposed 'rifts' in the camp or revealing tracklistings (real or not). If you were a real Oasis fan you'd know that most people on here know virtually every track on that listing you put up and theres been recordings of most of them floating about. Theres a lot of people on this forum and others who know a great deal more than you who keep it quiet in respect to the people who are working hard right now to make this a great album. It's not fair on them that information that has a careful and well thought out release schedule is leaked just to bolster the egos of a few 'in the know' fans. Just my opinion. |

One interesting oddity.
On Mash's site he lists the release date as 10/3/2011 and the single as 8/29/2011.
This is the American way of date format. The English do it Day/Month.
My guess: Mash got emailed from someone fucking with him and ran with what he was given and the source is an American.

I keep saying it on this forum, no one knows what an actual source is anymore in this twitter age. No one knows how to actually report and confirm a source. And then its even worse for people who read it on say a place like this forum and they take for the god honest truth, without asking "why hasn't anyone confirmed this yet?" People just randomly post shit without thinking and sometimes people take things to be the truth without thinking. You should always have more than 1 source confirming before you print anything. If he just had the one source from a random email and he printed it: then he's a fuckin idiot and he deserves whatever he gets. |

What would've been the harm of sitting on the info for a bit and confirming, getting another source, just waiting for a bit? No instead he didn't. And I don't necessarily believe that he's not an Oasis fan and is completely oblivious to their music, his name is sourmash ffs. I think he at least knows some trivia about the Gallaghers. I can't feel any sympathy for the guy. He should have confirmed any source before he printed. That's the way things are suppose to be done. Guess in the age of Twitter and Blogs that way has faded out. "Is it better to break a big story first, or to find out that that story really was just a story and now your name is being dragged through the mud?" One should always ask that of themselves if they are printing something with just one source. Sourmash isn't a victim, he's just an idiot. |

I also think that sourmash is getting his information from multiple sources, but whoever sent him that tracklisting is dreadfully, dreadfully wrong. There's no way he could be be a huge fan of Oasis, or at least he must've only got into them recently, otherwise he would've known immediately that tracklisting is fake. The only reason why I think he's still a little bit credible is because he did break the Sand Band story. So he has to know someone.

Every track on his list is an old track, and they're all confirmed names (apart from Don't Stop Being Happy), as spoken by Noel himself. And he did say on the last tour that he had a load of old songs that he wanted to release, and the fact they kept on being put back was annoying him. But I find it hard to believe he'd really stick to that plan. It's the old track of getting a list of unreleased songs and putting it together. |
