The line, bware of darkness hit me a bit. What the hell could that mean?? Or am I looking too much into that?

I've always thought he references Noel when he says that darkness phrase. Just about time when Noel was saying the 'Oasis was a rudderless ship' stuff in his blog, he started tweeting that, so I've always thought he means Noel. Just a guess.
