NME need to stop shoving em down our throats.. even my band would shit all over them One could make the argument that no hardcore Oasis fan would embrace a "new" Oasis to replace our fallen heroes. And while that may be the case that we won't accept a like-for-like replacement, I think we would embrace a similar sound. Look at the Courteeners - they have a similar Oasis style vibe about their tunes, albeit not entirely, but I and quite a few others on here appreciate them. I just think it shows how epically Brother (and I have yet to hear anything from them bar 2 songs that were quoted in an interview done by Webby's magazine online....."Your birthday's in May, it is what it is", yeah stunning lyrics there, chaps) has failed. Billing themselves as the new Oasis, yet being discounted by the entire Oasis fan base. That's truly remarkable!

Well, despite working for the webzine I'm not much of a Brother fan - all of us have common favourites but disagree on other things - but, as anyone from Live4ever who's dealt with Brother will tell you, they've never once billed themselves as 'the new Oasis' and actively avoid the comparison.
