We'll have exclusive access to the show featuring Beady Eye, Paul Weller and Primal Scream... Graham Coxon, Richard Ashcroft and The Coral are also on the bill for the charity show at O2 Academy Brixton on Sunday (April 3). The money raised from the show is going towards helping those who have been affected by the recent eathquake and subsequent tsunami in Japan. The gig is completely sold-out but we will be broadcasting from backstage from 6pm. And even if you are not attending you can donate to the Japan Disaster Fund here. www.xfm.co.uk/news/2011/xfm-coming-live-from-japan-disaster-benefit-gig?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitterNice!! So I guess we'll get some proper live material the next hours (TCT) and days (Japan) =)

It doesn't really confirm we'll actually hear any music.

Hmm indeed... The headline insinuates it, but they don't really mention it. I assume it's going to be interviews with pieces of music inbetween, or else I don't really see the point of going live to the whole thing...

45 minutes. Not much shorter than the normal set. Probably drop Wigwam and maybe Two Of A Kind/For Anyone and another tune.

Horay, I was right! =) hopefully we'll get some other tracks than the obvious The Roller, BTL etc... I think we can be quite sure they'll play KFAD. And then I hope for 3RC, TOAK, Wigwam. They have 45 mins, so we should get quite many songs...

I wouldnt mind if they dropped SOTS and closed with KFAD, that would be a nice closer and mean a lot to a lot of people.

I wish they'd tell Kelly Jones to fuck off home and play the full set.

Thinking realistically, they'll probably drop For Anyone, Two of a Kind and Man of Misery. That cuts 10 to 12 minutes. Get rid of Wigwam and they're pretty much there, much as I want to hear it.

Will anyone be recording any of this for a bootleg?

I'm with you. Wigwam will go and I think so will TOAK & MOM. Hope SOTS and For Anyone get dropped too and they either do KFAD last or another cover. Be a nice touch to get a special tune from this gig.

Graham Coxon solo doesn't excite me too much

Coxon is pretty poor. The sound is very messy and I can't stand his vocals, dont mind Blur too much.
