Just was daydreaming ... You'll probably tell me to keep dreaming, but it could be great:
What if Miles Kane joins Beady Eye ? I mean, in Noel they've lost a good singer/guitarist/songwriter.
I think Miles Kane could bring Beady Eye that bit extra, he is a great singer, his voice fits to Liams voice, he would be a real great second voice. He is a good guitarist and a great songwriter. He is fresh and young and he has the looks that will fit perfectly to Beady Eye ...
He won't will be a second Noel, and it won't become a second Oasis, but i guess he could be a great add to Beady Eye ...
Just let me dream, but what do you think?

Why would he join Beady Eye when he's now releasing his debut solo album? Anyway, his solo stuff is better than Beady Eye's stuff.

Miles Kane's cool, sure his solo album will be great. He's a bit young to be in Beady Eye (but then again Jeff don't look that old either). For me, Liam & co are doing really well on their own n hopefully their next album will be even stronger than DGSS.

Liam would never let another songwriter join BDI. As far as he's concerned, his, Andy's and Gem's songs are as good as Noel's. Recruiting someone else would be admitting defeat. And of course Miles Kane wouldn't do it either because his solo career should be successfull enough.

I agree with the previous comment that recruiting somebody else would be admitting defeat. However I have embraced Beady Eye but Noel's songs are in another league in my opinion. Whilst Beady Eye lack depth lyrically they make up for this with great energy and freedom in their songs but Noel seems to be able to produce great songs at will whereas for Beady Eye it seems to take a lot of hard work and effort.

I think that there are already enough creative influences in BDI. I think that putting in another ego and another opinion is just asking for trouble. They seem to have reached a sort of balance where everyone is happy with their input, although some of that could be the honeymoon phase, and I would think it'd be a bad idea to mess with that.
I think if they continue to put the work in they will continue to improve. They don't need to bring in a pinch hitter.
I really loved the Last Shadow Puppets album. I hadn't heard it until I looked it up after hearing that Noel was going to be on Miles' solo album. I am interested to hear what his album sounds like.
I would hope for Miles Kane's sake that he wouldn't consider it. It'd be a bad career move in his case. He'd never be able to move out of the shadow of Liam.

This discussion doesn't even have a basis in reality anyway...it's not like Liam called up Miles and asked him to join Beady Eye, or like that's ever going to happen in the near future.

I like Miles in his own right, but he wouldnt be right for Beady Eye. For a start his voice is too distinctive, would stick out like a sore thumb against Liam's imo. Also he's younger and so would stick out visually too. In everything he's done musically he's taken centre stage, and in Beady eye he would be playing potentially even 4th fiddle behind Gem, Andy and Liam. If he was 'promoted' to a higher role I could see Gem and Andy getting annoyed as theyve stuck with Liam for ages. I think a solo career is the best route for Miles, especially after hearing his solo stuff so far. Would be good if he guested with Beady Eye live though, maybe at the end of the tour?

Also he's younger and so would stick out visually too. Well, the bass player seems to be around Miles' age, he doesn't stick out that much in my opinion? Not saying Miles should join Beady Eye, haha, certainly no... He needs to keep doing his own thing...

^I spose, but he's only a live member so it's not as important. I doubt someone like Miles would settle for an unofficial role like that in the band anyway
