Good point, although havent the Brits skillfully ignored oasis' albums of recent years and instead gone for "outstanding contribution to music" and "best album of the last 20 years" awards
If Noels album does come out in october i predict he will have a better chance.
Really hope they both get acknowledged though

I don't think they'll both get nominated. I am almost positive BDI won't. It's not good enough to warrant it IMO. And anyone who thinks that any album that has been released so far other than Adele is going to win it anyways is living in a dream world.
Noel might have a chance depending on the album...but I doubt it unless he really pulls it out and the whole of Britain is singing his tunes in the shower.
it's only March I know...but I would lay money on 21 snagging the top prize at next years Brits. An album with rave reviews and insane popularity...I don't think the Brits will be able to resist.

Beady Eye could possibly pick up an NME award or two next year and maybe be in the running for a Brit after the second album. Next year is too early.
Noel would have a better chance, depending on the quality of the record though.

If not the best album, there are a few other categories Noel would have a chance with, best single maybe

Beady Eye could be nominated for best new act. They don't have a chance for album/band. Noel will get best male

The Beady Eye album will be too 'old' for the Brits next year so Noel will gets the advantage there but Adele is a shoe in if we're honest. NME's will be the most realistic chance for Beady Eye and Noel.

The NME is definitely their best chance. I'll bet they both get a noms at that next year. Wonder if they'll both attend?
But I think Noel could be in for some love @ the Q awards though. Dunno about Liam...

No way will BDI win a Brit. And no way will Noel if he goes all AA weird on us (and I fear he just may do so)

NME's will be the most realistic chance for Beady Eye and Noel. Not that i think they have a chance in hell, but how is Beady Eye's album tool "old" for the Brits next year but Adele's isn't? Eitherway, doesn't matter. I predict that, no matter what, the NME will have both Noel's album and Beady Eye's album or Noel V Liam - sell more copies of the mag right?

Ah, the thought of Liam and Noel collecting gongs at the SAME awards ceremony- priceless! I love English awards ceremonies- there's always a petulant spectacle to cut through the bullshit. In Australia and the U.S, everyones so amiable and fake and pathetic at these kinda bashes. But in England... Who can forget Liam versus Robbie and Ronnie Wood throwing his gin and tonic in that coked up knobend's face before claiming it was, 'a waste of a drink' Brilliant.
