So now that some more dates for August elsewhere have been announced, what is everyone thinking for when a US tour would possibly happen for the West Coast? Thinking the start of the month possibly.
Hopefully they announce this soon, as I was hoping to plan a Vegas trip around them hitting up Sin City, although I am thinking that may not happen.
Japan - 8/13 - 8/14
Frequence - 8/18
Reading/Leeds - 8/26-8/27

It sounds like a disorganised mess. They're fucking jumping all over the place with no real structure to this "world" tour. No Japanese gigs in May, I'm sure. No booked west
Coast venues to fill those now empty may dates they were going to play in Japan. Now there's more Uk/Euro dates announced throughout August. FML

One has to wonder if they're doing this on purpose - the reasons I can't even think of any to speculate of.
They're established musicians. They know how to perform and how to tour and how to schedule (I know they are only indirectly involved with that aspect, but they do have some say....). There has to be a reason to this utter madness other than incompetence.

They need to make one big go of America during May. Realistically they're not going to perpetrate a major sales surge with any more singles or sporadic gigs, so just give us an LA, Vegas, Seattle, Denver westerly swing onto the already announced dates. Add a Boston and...somehow Oasis always played Detriot..and give yourself more time in August.

Come to south america is what they need to do! Can't believe I'm gonna say that but can't wait to see those bloody argies goind mad in a small venue like Luna Park or whatever. And I'm there!

OF COURSE this is deliberate - done exactly to avoid the grind of normal "world tours". They're just playing shows whenever and wherever. "Disorganised" my ass! Yeah I think you've got it spot on. Jumping around to keep it fun and fresh and take plenty of breaks to rest the voice and have time off. Benefits us as well as them. And what does it matter if it is unorganised, if Liam and the lads come to a place near you and he sounds amazing well just enjoy it! |

The more and more I think about it, the more it seems this is unlikely to happen.. Link is now defunct but the text is from that site. Yeah I am thinking they won't be coming back now either. Would really like to see them again on the westcoast. Have already tweeted @dangerbird a couple of times last month and couldn't get any details, maybe someone else should try.

You know what they wanna be vaginas and skip pretty much the entire US/WestCoast, fuck them. Save my money and spend it on a trip somewhere or get a new camera. I'll settle out with some quality live bootleg DVDs to hold me over till they get it together...maybe spend my money going to see the Chief when he plays.
