What past Noel song do you most want to hear? That is to say, what rumored song title, demo, or soundcheck song, do you most want to be the Noel Gallagher solo album?
For me its probably a tie between Record Machine and If I Had A Gun. I love both those song. I can imagine the possibilities with both and they all sound good in my head. Especially Record Machine because of the way that Noel described it as full of guitars.

If I had a gun - loved it since if I've heard it first. I hope it will be an acoustic song.
Second song will be "If there's a god" , that new song from a soundcheck from the LDSMD-DVD.

I post this after just having recovered from a 3 hour fainting spell caused by the shocking fact that NYR and I finally agree on something other than both being diehard Ranger fans! I would love to see Noel touch this one up a bit and release it, even as a b-side would be perfect, but unfortunately it will never happen. As we all know, Noel for the most part is the worst evaluator of his own tunes, and of course he thinks it's "shite". "If I Had A Gun" and "Everybody's On The Run" better end up seeing the light of day. But knowing Noel he's probably got 7 or 8 songs that are miles better than these. I happen to like "Record Machine" in it's demo form. "Stop The Clocks" could use some Noel icing though. All have the potential to be very good tunes IMO.

God Help Us All. (Everybody seems to call it "If There's A God", but Noel said in an interview in 2009, with the swedish Oasis forum Oasisgeneration, that the song is called God Help Us All). The song that he sings on the soundcheck, in the Lord Don't Slow Me Down dvd. And If I Had A Gun sounds very promising.

If I Had A Gun sounds great, Revolution Song has the potential to be a classic and Record Machine is great already. I really hope that we'll get all three.

it's gonna be interesting seeing what we get from Noel.
but then, would Noel release entirely new songs? and not play Oasis songs at his gigs?

Am I the only person who thought Noel was referring to the 20 minute long soundcheck song when he called 'If I Had A Gun' 'epic'? None of the more acoustic ones have any lyrics about guns that I can recall.

If I Had A Gun - seems like one of the most beautiful songs ever with one of Noel's best melodies ever.

I certainly hope Noel properly lays down studio tracks for all these song, but the ones I would like to hear the most are, Bye Bye My Family, if that's what it's called, which is one of the acoustic soundcheck songs.
And I really want to hear a polished up version of that 18 minute jam they did during a soundcheck. You could trim it in half and it would still sound epic.
Just to throw i out there, what are the chances of Noel doing a double-CD? We know he's got enough material.

Revolution Song - the unreleased version is beautiful even in it's current form, but could do with some touching up
Record Machine - I want the full guitar laden epic version of this. I like the demo form, but it has even more potential. Could use a re-working of some of the lyrics, too.
STC - A bit dreary in current form, but good lyrics - and the outro vibe is good. If he can format the outro sound to the entire song, this could be a masterpiece.
If There's A God - I know we've only heard a couple seconds of it, but the melody is brilliant.
If I Had a Gun - Beautiful ---- ----
I don't really care for Everybody's On the Run. Not my cup of tea. At least not the soundcheck version of it....maybe Noel can rework it so the magic can be right ;-)
