Is it a crime to follow San Antonio because Australia's best known player (and best ever Melbourne Tiger) once played for them? I still remember his send-everyone-into-a-20-second orgasm when he scored his first points in the NBA for Washington.

wow talk about an apologist. Now it's not only for Noel but also for Mr chucker himself? lmao hilarious stuff as always. why do you keep attacking me though? you're like that little girl in kinder that keeps pulling the boy's hair, everyone knows what that's all about. now you're saying i've never even gotten laid? hahaha... i pity you. you're one of those guys that thinks INTERNET=SERIOUS BUSINESS lmfao. i remember when i complained about my karma count going down by the dozens every other day, you were one of the people who told me to get over it and now it's all you talk about in every post you make. now THAT is hilarious. full on butthurt huh? You can call people all the names you want "fucking loser", "fat cow", "butthurt" etc. but at the end of the day you are the only person who is "butthurt" enough to continually log in to 9 accounts multiple times a day. It doesn't matter how nice or mean your are to anyone. It doesn't matter how many times you play the "i was just minding my own business and they attacked me" card. It doesn't matter who you say takes the internet too seriously. You're logging into 9 accounts multiple times a day and you've been doing it for months. -------------- To anyone complaining about this conversation, I'm sorry you feel like its an old, tired topic because it is. I hate to bring it up, but nothing ever gets done around here. Karma should be done away with completely.

Back on topic, Kobe turned the clock back a bit last night. He's going to have to shoulder more of the scoring load than last season which is not good for the Lakers. I don't think Bynum's going to make it through January without getting injured. BUT, if he can play even 90% of what he did last night, the Lakers will be pretty good. Kobe scoring 25-30 and Bynum basically being Dwight Howard would give them a chance.
Anyone think OKC is in trouble with Westbrook? They need him to score, but he seems to put on a cape at times when Durant needs the ball.

The lakers got out while they could and it was the right choice. And by the way just my opinion but Shaq was a huge jackass Kazaam, Steel, 4 rap albums he also repeatedly cheated on his wife and is now divorced. Kobe is smug and overly confident and it comes across bad and just like Oasis he's my all time favorite.

I like you Rifles, but to compare rape with logging into multiple accounts and smite stalking is way over the top and quite frankly should have no place here.
Go about with lg or dogood or whatever his name is today somewhere else. This is not the place for it and I would hope that you would find better reasoning there than to compare rape with being on an internet forum.

I thought that comment was clearly extremely exaggerated and didn't expect anyone to take it seriously. I mean come on. This situation could only become more hilarious if I am somehow made out to be the villain, but I wouldn't be surprised. I tried to bring it back on topic by talking about the Lakers and Thunder, which I will repost here in hopes that the thread will not derail further. Back on topic, Kobe turned the clock back a bit last night. He's going to have to shoulder more of the scoring load than last season which is not good for the Lakers. Just saw Ginboli out at least 2 months after surgery. Not good for the Spurs, but that still puts him coming back in March. He'll have 4-6 weeks to work his way back before the playoffs. That might help them peak at just the right time.
That's probably reaching a bit though.

This Bynum is playing better than ever if he stays healthy and that's a big they are a finals team but good god they need a point guard
Not only was Kobe not convicted he was found innocent people like to leave that out

Management(aka Mr Buss) did not like the idea of losing the most dominant center at the time, and one of the most dominant forces ever. Also, keep in mind that when Shaq left, Phil left with him and don't forget what happened in the following seasons. first round playoff exits and missing the playoffs altogether was all Kobe led them to the next three years. Meanwhile Shaq was making multiple trips to conference finals and winning another championship. It wasn't until management pulled the most one sided trade of all time and got Gasol(an all star big man), that the Lakers became relevant again. A lot of younger nba fans think Kobe was the driving force in every single championship he has won but the fact of the matter is he was just along for the ride in the first 3, hence why Shaq got Finals MVP every single time. btw, Glad Spaneli put some order here and got this thread back on track =)

The Shaq vs. Kobe debate is very similar to Liam vs. Noel. It could be debated forever with neither side giving up. The fact is Shaq never won a title without Kobe or DWade so he needed a sidekick just as much as his sidekicks needed him. Kobe didn't put up the numbers Shaq did, but he was pretty integral in all the titles he's won. You should give him +9 karma for his efforts.

All Lebron had to do last year was be 40% of his usual self in the 4th quarter and Miami would've swept the Mavs. I have pretty much 0 faith in Lebron, but even I think he'll do better than 2 points per 4th quarter if they make it to the Finals again. He'll have EVERYONE shitting on him replaying his lowlights from last year...he'll have pretty much no choice but to get angry and play better. And if he disappears again, i think the internet will implode.
Portland is looking pretty good. Atlanta looks soft as usual and somehow lost to the Heat minus Wade and Lebron. I can't wait to see how this all shakes out. This season is going to be crazy.

Yeah, the Heat are starting to play more team basketball and probably won't even need Lebron to do that well come playoff time, that's scary. p.s. Silence Dogood, you need serious psychological help, seriously. If someone disagrees with you or doesn't share your opinion then you go into mass smite mode. You do realize no one cares about the 'karma' on the forum, and mainly because of you, right? I mean come on, please tell me you're 15 or you're not receiving the medical attention you need.
