will lebron get MVP on a losing side? he deserves it i think... If Curry has another good game and they close it out I think Curry will win it. Some people have been throwing around iggys name but I don't think he's done enough. LeBron has been great in the last two losses I just don't see them giving it to the best player on the losing team. yeah, i agree curry will probably get it and dont see iggy having a real shot. obviously, only jerry west has gotten the nod while being on a losing team, but lebron's stats are just too good i think. cant remember seeing a stat line quite like this; averaging 36pts, 9 assists, 12 rebounds, 1 steal, 0.5 blocks. impressive.

They won't give lebron MVP if the Cavs lose but there's no doubt that he's been the best player in this series.
It is insane how much better he is than everyone else despite having no one and being 30. He's influence on a game is bar none.
Curry has had only one truly great game and that was last night. Played well in game 3 and was just okay in game 1. They'll probably give it to him and he hasn't been bad by any means. 26pts, 6 ass, and 5 boards is a very good stat line.
I just think Iguodala has had he's fingerprints all over this series. He's stat line is okay 15, 4 dimes, and 5 boards with a steal. He is really the only Warrior who pushes the pace and who didn't look scared when they were going into game 4. He's has really limited lebron and he's shooting the exact same % as curry is from 3 in this series 41% (yes I know curry shoots more and had that 2-15 game). He has been the most influential player on both sides of the ball besides Lebron. Curry's will be well deserved, but AI never gets any shine. This would be redemption for having he's dunk contest title stolen haha
EDIT: In Hornets news: WHY THE FUCK did they trade Lance for Hawes and Barnes? WTF? Lance was terrible last year but dude obviously has skill if you invest in him. Hawes is shit, Barnes is old (watch the Vice doc if you don't like him on the court, dudes been through some stuff). Lance has potential to be a boarderline star if he figures it out which I think he eventually will. I hope Barnes can teach MKG some grit (if they don't cut him) but this trade blows. Maybe they just did it because Lance was the one person who could beat MJ one on one. Seriously I can't believe how troll, insane, egotistical, and narcissistic MJ is for saying that he could beat Hornets players one on one. Like really? Maybe Bismack Biyombo but even he has improved. Make some Hanes ad's, smokes cigars, and golf dude.

Happy for the Warriors. Always been a fun team to watch harking back to the 07 year and even when Ellis and Curry were playing together. Glad Livingston and Iggy got their rings. I can't think of any vets that deserve it more. Their team was one of the most enjoyable and pure basketball teams that I've ever seen. Proud of Curry for overcoming his ankle problems and establishing his self as the greatest shooter ever. He's an NC kid so I can't help but be happy for him. Dude has a game that is so pretty and one of a kind. He has had one of the most transformative seasons that I've ever seen. He was an all star snub in 2013 and he's now one of the most popular players in the league. Been a good year for NC with him and Duke winning chips, he won't be coming to the Hornets anytime soon though . One of the most balanced teams that I've seen. Thing is this group can get even better if they manage their roster right. It is a damn shame the Cavs couldn't have been healthy. Lebron probably put on the best individual finals series ever but he just can't do it with 1 dimensional players. JR decides to hit shot with a min left just ain't gonna cut it. If they bring Love back and keep Thompson and stay healthy they might be the favorites next year. I bet Lebron and Love/Kyrie will go into this summer hungry. They just need to kick all those old dudes off the roster.

My television programming is a little fucked...
During the day I normally have ESPN programming on, it's background noise as I do other things, like spacing out, etc.
And I'm not in the mood to listen to Warriors dick sucking.
The Cavs would've probably swept the Warriors with Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving.
Thanks.

yeah, cavs fully fit i think wouldve made a completely different series...and i doubt it wouldve been close. turnovers reeeeally hurt them tho. and lebron had no solid support to mount a comeback. iggy with MVP?! first time a 6th man has won the award? the first player to win the award and not start every game in the series. also the first to win it who didnt start a game during the regular season... 7-4 vote iguodala over lebron. 0 votes for steph. if lebron couldnt win it with his performance i dont think anyone from a losing team will ever win it again.

Fair play to the Cavs who fought till the end and fair play to the Warriors who have been the best team through the whole season
As for the MVP award, I would have given it to LeBron tbh, but I can't say Iggy didn't deserved it, he was crucial with his defense and also pretty good in the other half of the court, putting him in the starting lineup changed the series, so really happy for him and for Livingston too, who deserved a title after all the shit he's been through

Jordan never lost in the Finals. Just saying..... Jordan never lost both of Pippen and Rodman out while playing the finals. Just saying, he did what he could. Is he the best of all time? No, but anyone else would've given up when Irving went off. Cleveland needs better backup for next year.

LeBron, like ARod is very unlikable to the masses. I really don't see how people can hate Lebron. Honestly dude seems like a chill dude off the court despite being hyped since he was 16. He has handled himself very well. I don't really get psycho vibes from him like I do with Jordan. Yeah Lebron has made mistakes (decision (even though it was charity), 2011 finals disappearance, leaving the heat hanging), but I've got no complaints from him otherwise. Seems like a great leader and teammate in most situations, not to mention he is a top 5 basketball player ever. Media and people bitching about Lebron, do they not understand that this Golden State team is a legit top 5, at least top 10 team ever? Starting five was superb to start with and their bench was diverse, all were solid playmakers, and they were well prepared. Position-less basketball is really becoming the norm, you see line ups with just long guys (curry, thompson, iggy, green, livingston, barnes, etc ). Coach K and international competition in general have had a lot of influence on the NBA. Our national teams are designed a lot like Golden State and the Spurs; Long athletic, they execute and play with similar paces on both ends of the floor. Honestly I don't know if you can say that if the Cavs were healthy that they would beat the Warriors. Maybe they do (I'd say probably 60% chance in 6-7 games if they have Love and/or Kyrie), but this Warriors team was fantastic. They've put int the work and built up a great team and they have become an outstanding organization. You can't put this series on Lebron, you just can't, dude lead both teams in pts, assists, and boards. He literally carried a team (this injured finals squad) that wouldn't have won 30 games this year and they beat the best team in the nba twice. It is surprising that it was competitive as it was, to be honest.

Some people it never impacts, others it's a rallying cry against. Everyone loved Jordan. People rally against LeBron. People despise Barry Bonds and ARod yet love unconditionally Jeter and Trout. Even way before the steroids, people naturally didn't like those guys. Bonds for being a dick and ARod for too much hype and bad PR moves. For whatever reason guys like LeBron and ARod are a lightning rod. For as many people that love(Ed) them, and equal number root against passionately.

This Warriors team isn't that great, maybe from a statistics standpoint, but, I just don't see them beating that many other champioinship teams. Hell, Lébron almost beat them by himself.
The only people who hate on Lëbron at this point are bitter Heat fans and people that are haters, in general, or people who don't follow basketball. All the players in the NBA want to play with him.
The Cavs are already the odds on favorite to win the championship next season.
God bless.

I could see this Golden State team having no problem with LA in 09-10, Dallas or 2012 Miami. I think the 08 Boston team, 2014 spurs, and 2013 Heat match ups would be close. 2009 LA's match up could be interesting with Pau and bynum but golden state still might have too much firepower for those two. Klay didn't really even have even a good series to be honest. Green was decent, missed some shots. Curry was very good but I won't call his series great either, which really gives the Cavs a lot of credit. They defended well but they literally had zero scoring and that's why i can't bitch about lebron's "clutchness" or efficiency. No one did what he just did and its kinda crazy people are bitching/expecting him to do more. Cavs hit like 10 shots the entire series when Lebron was on the bench. Golden State got some breaks along the way, but this was the most dominant an nba team as been in the playoffs and regular season in sometime. They were 83-20. I just can't wait to what OKC does this next year. Do or die year potentially for them and the world might not be ready for KD and Russ at full power again.

^ If these existed in 1999-2003 when DBZ and basketball were literally the only two things I cared about besides family and friends I would have lost my mind.
Also to the point of Curry being the best shooter ever. I think its still too early to really say it or confirm it, but barring a terrible injury or the space jam monsters stealing his j then there is no doubt in my mind that he'll go down as the best shooter ever, and he's teammate Thompson is no slouch either. I think this season was probably perhaps the best shooting season ever for a player and Steph was already a pretty historically great shooter, and that's why this conversation is starting. Just the presence of Curry has a dramatic effect on a defense, never mind that the dude needs 0 space and can create off the dribble like no sniper we've ever seen only helps he's case. The Curry family is probably the best shooting family on earth right now between Steph, Dell, and Seth.
