I missed the first two games and have only read comments and seen highlights because of school, luckily tomorrow it's over
Anyway good to see Mozgov having a great series,I love the guy,Blatt deserves some credits 'cause from what I'm reading it seems the Warriors are playing pretty bad (or at least not as good as they've played in the previous series),he got lot of shit from medias and fans several times through the season but he knows how to make adjustments on defense and he's a winner,he's shown that in Europe
What LeBron is doing is unbelievable, yeah he's not efficient atm,but as Cast said with Love and Irving out he's basically their only offensive option, yet he's carried them to the finals and has got a chance of carrying them to win the title, those last shots/possessions are a bit worrying tho, this series seems tighter than people thought, yesterday they were still able to win,but it could go the other way and giving he's basically their only closer he needs to be a bit more clutch, which would also cement is cause as the GOAT...I mean I wasn't around when Jordan was playing, but if he wants to be considered the greatest he HAS to hit those shots
Said that, despite none of them being all-star caliber,I think all the guys deserve props for the Cavs run in the playoffs and yesterday's game, from Thompson taking Love's spot, being decisive with his rebounding and literally destroying Bogut and Green together with Mozgov, who's clearly got LeBron's trust and playing amazingly,to Shumpert playing great D,Jones giving them a huge spark from the bench yesterday, and of course Delly, not a great talent, but the guy's got guts

He missed three game winning shots in two games. Missed 18 of his last 21 shots. He's great but he's not the greatest. Dude, he's their ONLY offensive player and he has 2 All NBA defenders on him with AI and Green and two above average defenders on him too at times, with Barnes and Klay. Shit happens, how about people credit GS for playing him smart? Plus on at least one of those drive he was hacked all the way to the rim, refs aren't gonna call that at the end of the game but it was a foul. The shots % is obviously a mixture of being gassed, being well defended, and just plain not hitting shots, but dude hit 3 threes, one at a pretty crucial point in the game. I'm kinda tired of people shitty on Lebron %'s, this moneyball shit can be taken too far. Half of the cavs offense is run iso for lebron and pray that TT can get his boards which he did. People are like the "the Cavs shot 32%, they don't play efficient modern basketball," well no shit they don't have the personal to do it and that's the beauty of it. All I'm saying is that he had 39 points, 16 boards, and 11 dimes and he's draggin this mediocre Cavs team which is probably the worst since his 07 cavs to wins. MJ couldn't do this. I know I'm the forums bitter Heat fan and resident LeBron hater so I come across biased. I'm not saying he isn't great. He's the second best player I've ever seen after Jordan. All I'm saying is he has to make those shots. If he would have lost that game, which they could have because someone should have made a two handed dunk, he gets the second biggest blame for the loss after JR Smith. I'm sure he was gassed at the end of the last two games but to be considered the GOAT he can't miss three game winners in two games and be 4 for 21 in the second half and overtime last night . They won that game because of their defense and Curry wasn't very good.

Interesting stat. MJ did miss one full playoff run in his prime and then lost to Shaqs magic after returning late in the season. Plus LeBron didn't lose years to college.

Valid points Sternumman, but I still don't get why a number of Heat fans hate on him. I know he bounced from Miami in not the best way possible, but I mean a top 5 player played some of his prime years and won y'all two rings. Those heatles teams were special, one of my favorite teams from recent memory. sorry y'all underperformed this year, as a hornets follower I feel your pain there with regard to this this season. I get it's only been a year since he left and that time will damped this, but I don't know just kinda funny to me. I kinda always thought he would go back to Cavs at some point maybe in 2017 or something, but it ended up being quicker. I saw a stat today where Lebron has led his team in points, dimes, and boards for 34-38 times (somewhere in there, I can't remember the exact stat) in the playoffs. The next closest person to do that is Bird who did it a total of 13 times. Tell me a lot of Lebron and the quality of some of his supporting casts.

Valid points Sternumman, but I still don't get why a number of Heat fans hate on him. I Because sports fans are fickle petty people. I appreciate every thing he did for my franchise. I wrote three paragraphs on it when he left. Probably my longest post on this forum. Those four years were the best four years as a sports fan I ever had and will never be duplicated. The only thing that comes close was the early 2000 Hurricanes teams. My biggest gripe with LeBron is the way he left. Did he owe the franchise anything? Technically not. He fulfilled his contract but the going home story was complete BS. He left for his brand and for power. Going home was a great marketing move. He's more popular than ever. Plus now him and his cronies run the franchise. He knew Riley and Arinson wouldn't give him and his friends free range to do what ever they wanted. When he signed here he demanded a six year deal. To get that the Heat had to do a sign and trade with the Cavs. So they lost draft picks to the team He went back to. He told the team He wanted Napier even though he knew he was leaving . So the Heat drafted him. He met Gilbert before meeting Riley. He wouldn't answer Rileys calls on potential free agent moves. Then LBJ makes him fly to Vegas to make his pitch even though LeBron had already made up his mind. My largest gripe is he waited so long to let everyone know his decision even though his mind was made up a long time ago. He essentially cock blocked the Heat from making any moves to ensure that they were weaker competition. He allegedly told Gasol not to sign there. He intentionally sabotaged the franchise that gave him the most successful years of his career to insure his new team, the one that couldn't build around him previously and for the owner and fans that trashed him, would have a competitive advantage.

^Yeah I suppose if I was a diehard Heat fan I'd feel the same, maybe not to the degree you feel but I see how its hard to root for him.
One of the shittiest ESPN storylines of the season has been the Lebron is the coach over Blatt narrative, but yet Lue gets props as an assistant coach. Like I get James is doing some leadership stuff on and off the court, but Blatt deserves a lot of credit here for rebranding this basketball team and he isn't really getting it. Yeah Lue is the defensive guy, but the lack of respect Blatt is getting is kinda of insane.

Crazy game. Lebron was great. Didn't settle for jumpers. Curry was horrible for three quarters but was amazing in the fourth. Hopefully that finish kick starts him.
Stat of the night. Lebron James is 0-5 in the finals in a Cavs uniform when Wade is not in the building. 2-0 when Wade is there.

This finals has been so good thus far. Just incredible what we are witnessing from everyone on the Cavs not just Lebron, but damn what another performance by him.

The amount of LeBron bandwagoners on Twitter is ridiculous. Someone said they hate the Cavs but love LeBron, then say they hate GS and Curry because he's been handed everything in his life...FFS...

Draymond Green has really laid a turd in these finals. He has really struggled in this series. As someone who watched Barnes a lot during his college days, I think its pretty clear that this moment might be a bit too big for him. He tends to disappear when a lot is on the line. He didn't make a shot and he missed a couple wide open jumpers, that just can't happen. I expected more from Green. His jumper has been off and then he'll just recklessly attack the rim and get blocked. Both of them have to be a lot better or someone on the bench is gonna have to step up offensively. Lee was solid tonight. I'd like to see Livingston get a few more minutes. He had a couple nice plays and buckets and if the Warriors want to match the cavs and play a grid it out style, which they can - it may not be them at their free flowing best but they can play gritty. I think he'd great choice to help with the pace.
This isn't the boldest prediction, but I think the team that wins the next game wins the series. Still just in awe of Lebron right now. This is greatness.

This is greatness. Green and Bogut are being killed by the Cavs two bigs Agree about Barnes, he's been really good this season but yesterday he was awful It was nice to see Lee getting some minutes and having a good game, as his teammates he still struggled to rebound, but at least he got some buckets and a couple of lovely assists Klay wasn't half as good as he was in Game 2, but the Warriors needed that type of performance again with Curry struggling for three quarters and the rest of the starting lineup not doing anything LeBron was incredible yesterday and he even made his free throws at the end of the game, now that's something Curry was invisible in the first half and even in the third, but was on fire and made some tough tough shots in the fourth, let's see if that gives him the mental boost he needs...he still had some costly turnovers tho Despite two MVPs battling on the court, with one who's clearly not disappointing and the other one who finally came to life in the fourth quarter yesterday, these are the finals of the unsung heroes Give it up for Matthew Dellavedova
