he actually played in the AA (minor league) and the coaches said if he wouldve stuck with it, he may have gone on to the majors. but he quit and went back to basketball. thank god. he never had a baseball rookie card tho. just a basketball card with a pic of him playing baseball. and its worthless... big celtics fan here. and a small bobcats fan aswell from my days in wilmington... Yeah, Jordan might have been a September call up if baseball didn't go on strike in August of 1994. He would have sold plenty of tickets for the White Sox. He had no real future with them. He was like 32-33 years old and it was a payback from the Bulls/Sox owner for dominating in the NBA. Michael definitely did have rookie cards for baseball. My brother and I own plenty of them. Listed in the Beckett magazine under the 1994/1995 seasons as RC (Rookie Card). They range from $2 to $15 so yeah, basically worthless considering where I thought they'd be in 2013 compared to when I was 12 in 1994. 1994 Upper Deck Rookie Card 1994 Upper Deck Collectors Choice Rookie Card 1994 SP Hologram RC
I also owned his minor league baseball card *** This collection is available for sale by the way. He also had a special promo card from the 1991 season (still active in NBA, not baseball yet) i stand corrected. i collect nba, not mlb, so my knowledge is limited on baseball cards. did anyone watch ESPNs 30 for 30: jordan rides the bus? pretty good doco. as are most of the 30 for 30 series.

Playoffs start today I honestly cant seeing the Heat losing four out of seven to anyone. The Heats record after the All-Star break was 30-2. The OKC- HOU series should be fun. I wouldnt be surprised if Harden went for 50 in one game. Hope the lakers beat the Spurs. Im not sure Kobes ego could take it. He'd root publicly for the Lakers but inside I think he'd hope they lose without him. Would like to see the old Celtics beat the Knicks. The cocky Knicks fans who havent won a playoff series in 13 yrs think they can beat the Heat because the won the regular season series.

Happy my Bulls pulled out the series, especially with everything going against them. They won't win against the Heat, but I know the Bulls will give all the heart they have and this series will be competitive. The Bulls are not the Milwaukee Bucks.

Bulls have so much heart. They're a team of winners (Boozer, Noah both champions in college. Rose, Hinrich, Deng all final four players). No chance that they're stoppin LeBron & co. but to beat the Nets with such a depleted team is something to be proud of.
I was really lookin forward to a OKC/Miami rematch but with Westbrook out, I doubt that they'll make it, even with Durant's sublime talent. If they didn't trade Harden I'd like their chances to reach the finals again, but I think its just too much too fast. I expect the Spurs to get there, although I'm gonna root for GS in that series. Gotta love Curry.
I actually think Memphis might be the best team that matches up with the heat, because they got Gasol and Z-Bo down their to beat up on Miami's small ball and they have a couple great defenders in Prince and Allen that could help on the outside. Either way no one is stoppin Lebron, the man is on a mission. No need to compare with Jordan, the guy is one of the best in his own right. Never seen a basketbal player like him with such a complete game and physical power.

There's no definable basketball reason why the Bulls win. They just do. A lot of hustle and a lot of guts. I don't think they'll be able to do this three more times, but tonight was an impressive win. Like I said, the Bulls are not the Milwaukee Bucks. This will be a series. #GOBULLS

Tonight's win by the Bulls literally made me question everything I thought I knew about basketball. A team with no hall of famers and two all star (one hasn't been an all star in years in Boozer and sat for most of the 4th quarter) beat a team with four future hall of famers. (The closest thing I can even relate to is the Pistons vs. Lakers and the Pistons were fully healthy with the reigning Defensive Player of the Year). Truly an amazing win by the Bulls tonight. Hopefully character and chemistry can help them make a series of this

Nate Robinson for all his flaws and bravado is playing superb basketball. The dude is 5'9" and he is destroying teams and he hustles. I'm 3 inches taller than the dude and he dove for a lose ball against LeBron who is basically a taller version of a fullback. He and Noah are the heart of this bulls team right now and I have to give a big shout out to Butler, who is literally been a machine these playoffs, playing full games on a constant basis.
With that said the Heat clearly weren't at their best. LeBron took too long to take over, D-Wade is proving to me that although still a great player is in decline. Bosh didn't show up at all. Allen and Battier were ice cold. I imagine they'll come out for game 2 showing no mercy. Still, the Bulls can and I hope they do make a series of this. Thibodeau is proving he is a top 5 coach and the Bulls physical play can disrupt the Heat. It's funny the Heat has lost what like 2-3 games in the past forty or so, but they are 0-2 against the bulls over that course.
I feel for Golden State, they just choked their game away. I've been on the bandwagon ever since his college days, but Curry is one of the best shooters of all time and I think when its all said and done he will be, plus with his handle he can create off the dribble. His 3rd quarters in these playoffs have been insane. Literally anytime he launches the ball I pretty much expect it to go in. Incredible. SA just proved why their SA in this game. They may be old, but damn they're smart and they'll make you pay.

i'm glad the Knicks lost because they're bitches, starting with Carmelo Anthony. God bless. It's funny I hate the Knicks only New York team that I hate , since the 80 s with Bernard king and then spike lee and the 90 s so I am glad as you guys are . I was always a laker fan and took heat cause I remember the Knicks beating them in 73 whole. Lass got me then , I always loved the purple uniform and since I was not a basketball but I liked them for that reason , but I respected the Knicks. Frazier, reed debusher, Bradley. ( those are KNICKS ) I could never hate them but since then MEH (@catatouille ) Edit I should restate that as I don't consider devils New York. And islanders New York they are Long Island .....however since they are moving to Brooklyn I guess I hate 2 New York teams and 1 jersey

No intrigue at all really. Plus now we don't get to see Labron posterize Carmello. the Pacers will do the rough, physical play like the Bulls did with the Heat but even more physical......i have no problem with physical play but tackling players is a bitch move a la what the Bulls did. this season has sucked other than Lebron James having a monster year......if the Chris Paul trade wasn't blocked by the NBA we'd have some entertainment.....fuck Dwight Howard - i have no respect for players that can't do the fundamental thing basketball is based on and that is shoot...at least Shaq developed a great low post game. God bless.
