This is history. You don't have to like football. It's perfectly legitimate.
But this has been a historic display. You can't deny what happended tonight. Even if it's not your favourite sport.

But this has been a historic display. You can't deny what happened tonight. I feel no shame in losing to Barcelona. They're unreal. And Leo Messi... he's 23. 23!Despite last night I'm happy because a season that promised so little has delivered our 19th title, and a fourth European final. The defeats are difficult to swallow, but I feel incredibly fortunate to be supporting a team that's achieved so much. I just hope we never have to play them again.

Certainly the greatest team I've ever seen. Aside from the 1st ten minutes Barca were all over Man U. Even their goal was against the run of play. I don't think people get the fact they out played MANCHESTER UNITED. This isn't Barcelona taking it handy against someone like Blackpool or Fulham or Newcastle. They outplayed (possibly) the second best team in the world. Completely. It was a joy to watch, not because I don't like Man U but just for the quality that Barcelona displayed last night.

You know what kind of quality you're up against when managers like Sir Alex and Jose Mourinho, with all their ability and experience, and some of the best players in the world at their disposal, just don't have an answer. My only hope is that they lose the plot and replace Pep Guardiola with Rafa Benitez.

My hatred for Michael Owen aside Berba is still a much better footballer.

Astonished that he wasn't even on the bench. I understand Fergie's reasoning in selecting Michael Owen. Instead I would question why we needed three options in central midfield, and particularly Fletcher, who looked off the pace against Charlie Adam last week. If I'm honest I think Berbatov's days at United are numbered, which is a terrible shame because he's a fantastic player whom I admire greatly, and I think he has suffered for the lack of faith that's been shown in him by both Fergie and United fans alike.

i was surprised by the formation that fergie adopted, though would of started with berbatov as he can hold the ball up where as Hernandez who has had a good season just kept running offside as what always late getting back onside. giggs looked as though he was more intrested in finding his lawyer than the ball most of the time
but it wouldn't of mattered who played, Barca are just a class act who would destroy anything put in front of them

Five Barcelona players wanted to swap shirts with Paul Scholes at the final whistle last night. Iniesta got there first.
No tribute more fitting.
