Hey all,
I got my tix at exactly 10am. My friend Chris, who also lives in Chicago and has friend who works at the Metro said tickets sold out in 6 minutes.
Never fear if you were left out. With the show being 3 months away they will probably, most likely, be releasing some more.
Chris' advice is to call the Metro frequently and ask a human being what the story with new tix is.
I am super-stoked for this show. We should have a meet up at either Johnny O' Hagan's on Clark Street before or Guthries Tavern. Both places within walking distance of the Metro.
later,
mikey

This sucks so hard. I so badly wanted to go to this show. I got on at 10 (eastern time) not realizing there is a time difference since I live in Michigan. I had to leave for work at 10:30 and by the time I got home it was sold out!!! But like you guys said it sold out in 6 minutes. I feel cheated since I won't get to see these guys. I was so excited and willing to drive 4 hours. I'll do what you said and call constantly about tickets. But how long should I wait until I try calling again and how frequently should I call?

There are some tickets on StubHub right now for $75-80 bucks. I know that's more than double face value, but how often is Liam Gallagher going to be in Chicago?
I missed out on tickets as well, and if it comes to it, I'll just bite the bullet and pay the extra money.

I'm so excited for the gig. Love the idea of the preshow party at a nearby bar. We'll plan it out as it gets closer!

I hope the organizer of the US tour realizes the idiotic decision of only 2 gigs in the States. What utter nonsense.

I hope the organizer of the US tour realizes the idiotic decision of only 2 gigs in the States. What utter nonsense. This is why they're coming back later this year. The venues they're playing are not even 1500 capacity except Toronto (3300) which hasnt sold out.
