Was just wondering what your take is on this. Do you think they will release a live dvd or do you think it maybe too early? If so, which gig do you think they will release?

YES PLEASE! A few people have mentionned there were professional cameramen at the first gigs, so they could if they want to..

I think that it is certainly a possibility; especially with the release of the professional video on their website following the first Barrowlands gig. I could see a Lord Don't Slow Me Down type doc.

could easily see it happening and being released when the whole tour finishes, just when the boys go back into the studio - Sounds like they'll want Beady Eye to be kept in the public conscience.

i noticed at least 3 cameramen around the Troxy last night, there was even one talking to the fans outside when it finished!

Another LDSMD style filim would be cool, following the band around the world n mixing behind the scenes shit with various live tracks. Would personally prefer a complete (un-edited) performance though...
...maybe they're just filming everything cause of how temperamental Liams voice can be. That way they can pick the best performance after.

Normally when they release gigs on dvd etc theres signs up all over saying along the lines of 'if your on the site, you agree to being filmed'. Didnt see any of these signs up at Troxy.

Can't see them releasing a DVD as the set just isn't long enough.

Can't see them releasing a DVD as the set just isn't long enough. But songs are usually cut from a DVD anyway. 14 songs is plenty for a DVD

DVD in the vein of There & Then, with interview and footage of the boys backstage being cut into the mix.

DVD in the vein of There & Then, with interview and footage of the boys backstage being cut into the mix. This is what I want. They are definitely releasing one as there have been professional cameras on several gigs. Only question is when. I'd say someting like october/november!

I'm skeptical. Even though I'd like them to, I say no.
Oasis should (have) release(d) so many DVDs though. Here's hoping they will eventually.

It would be great, but we've seen many gigs that were filmed (Finsbury Park, Slane Castle, Wembley '09...) and never made into a dvd....

where is beady eye unofficial's unofficial statement on this topic? also didn't he have some unofficial rehearsal footage on his phone or something? strange, he must have forgotten to unofficially share that with us.

The professional cameras in London at least didn't include any sort of cranes or stands whatsoever. They were all handheld(not steadycam). The cameras that were filming them from the front were all in the pit, not on the level of the band. Not that necessarily means there can't be a live dvd, but it's always a bit unusual if someone's filming a full length live dvd without any sort of crane/stand material.

Ooh that's great then! Now I just hope the fact there was none of those "you might filmed as part of the audience" signs doesn't mean there can't be a dvd.
fingers crossed.

They might do a release of their Reading/Leeds performance as they are headlining the NME/Radio 1 stage (As far as i'm aware). So I'd guess that it might be a longer set than normal so they might add in Wigwam, WOMR, TOAK and maybe a couple more covers if there's time... That would add up to about and hour and a half/ 2 hours

I think so, Miles Kanes new videos have been recorded on the Beady Eye tour and have been directed by Charlie Lightning, who directed FLW.
You can see the Wigwam cover at the Royal Albert Hall.
