The Roller has gone up to #8 in the Japanese Hot 100 this week. The only 'international' songs above it are by Will.i.am and Lady Gaga. For comparison, TSOTL got to #10. Also, DGSS has now sold just over 40,000 copies there in 2 weeks.

TSOTL? I'm sorry but it's getting annoying trying to figure out what all those things stand for. They're all over the forum.

Get used to it...we never write out the titles to anything unless their title is one word. I always get a kick out of the abbreviations when new songs come out. It always takes me a second to figure out what they are. ;D Then they just become 2nd nature.

the japanese are still madferit. awesome =) Sort of on topic -- the first time I saw madferit written out it was spelled "mad ferret", which was a bit confusing. Then it clicked

Favourite abbreviations? From recent days I like TOAK, and I've always enjoyed typing SOTSOG!

Then it clicked This is the way I spell it Nice ;D SCYHO is easily recognizable, but looks like "scythe", which really doesn't fit the song. I like DLBIA, DYKWIM? (and anything else with punctuation), RNRS, and GLIO. Also CNS cos it also stands for central nervous system

I always have the inclination when writing SOTS to finish it off with "OG" to make SOTSOG haha

DYKWIM is pretty cool... probably cos is my fav tune...
I've just recently noticed that TMS could stand both for The Meaning of Soul and The Morning Son...

The Meaning of Soul is normally written as TMOS, to be fair
Whoever crafted the LAG named needs credit, too

I usually recognize all the songs in their abbreviated form but if someone wrote something like ALATGCIH I would't know what the it was...
(PS: It's--> As long as they've got cigarettes in hell)

This thread is full of failure. First I start off the off-topic nonsense, then the earthquake happens. Tragic. Great news from Japan? meh. Might as well close it then.
