Liam has said in many interviews that none of the songs are directed at Noel. The Beat Goes On was written by Andy anyway, probably years ago.
Will you people stop trying to create drama? The songs are NOT about Noel, stop trying to find hidden meanings. You should've learned something from 15 years of being an Oasis fan....lyrics don't mean anything.

Surely if you were going to pick lyrics from the album possibly mentioning the break up you would pick
"So let it be, and given time, you go your way and I'll go mine."

the morning son liam has said in interviews is the only song about noel I concur. HOWEVER, surely theres some more, probably not as many as the original poster suggests but, I doubt Morning Son is the only song that contains break up inspired verses.

The album is albout their experiences...they experienced Noel leaving...there will be traces of the sentiments illicited by that event throughout their work. I don't care what Liam and co. say. They are minimizing the impact of it in the press and not give the press the grounds to make this album all about Noel...but even they can't believe that there aren't quite a few lyric in quite a few songs that didn't have anything to do with the bottom falling out of their world when Noel left.
It's the most significant thing to happen in their lives in the past 2 years...there is no shame in it being reflected in their album. It only means that they were writing from a place of truth.

the morning son liam has said in interviews is the only song about noel Actually he said this song COULD be about Noel. It could easily be about John Lennon too, but that bit about "you go your way and i'll go mine" clearly refers to Noel. I don't know, never thought Liam would write such interpretative lyrics.

Morning Son "We’re blinded by what We idolize" Do you think Liam idolized Noel? I always thought that line (and most of the song) are vaguely about John Lennon.

That was the line he mentioned in that first American radio interview when asked what lyrics could be about Noel. It could be about alot of things though.

The album title: "Different Gear, Still Speeding" - can't get any more obvious than that Also, KFAD: "Life's too short not to forgive, you can carry regrets but they wont let you live. I'm here if you want to call" And we all know Noel is the Man of Misery (Ok, I kid with this one haha)

I really doubt any lyrics are direct at Noel...
The brilliance of Oasis' lyrics was that they weren't about anything specific (with some exceptions of course), therefore they were susceptible to whatever interpretation you would like. I believe LAG follows that path. The lyrics just come to mind and if they fit melody its great. It's not "hmmm how can I expose my feelings through this song..?"

They COULD be about everything, but some ARE clearly about Noel and the break up.
Also, in TBGO it's not 'Deep with guitars', its 'Beat with guitars' which is cleary about the fight in Paris. I know Andy wrote the song earlier, but you're not telling me it's not about that fight.. KFAD and TMS also contain some obvious references imo..
