Well what can I say but what a magnificant gig.....I have seen Oasis 10 times and this Beady Eye gig was easily as good as anything since 2000 imo Four letter word was an awesome opener and really felt more relevant than Oasis has in years..even Bright the light sounded fresh live and it had people actually dancing! (in a sexy way for the most part ;-)...also SOTEOTN was really enjoyable live! The only low for me was For anyone which wasn't the best vocal, still fine but a little too powerful and shouty for such a delicate number (but thats being harsh) The one, two power punch finish of the epic Morning son and then Sons of the stage was inspired....it was such a good night plans are already in hand to make a visit to Liverpool in April...a great live experience and really refreshing to have all new songs and a more vibrant band seemingly not going through the motions as in latter day Oasis!

I was there last night. Was definitely one of the best gigs I have ever been to. Miles Kane was good, even if I didn't know any of his songs. I just, missed Liam having a bit of banter tbh. Just wish he did but then, beggers can't be choosers

Miles Kane was class, luckily I knew all bar 2 of his songs. Thought his cover of Hey Bulldog was really good.
Beady Eye had that edge though, such a tight set. Most of the tunes sound so much better in the live setting too.

Mega mega night. Loved how everyone starting going nuts to 'I Am The Resurrection' just before the boys came on.
Brilliant night and one that will live long in the memory. Well done to everyone who was there. Can't wait for a boot to surface.

I do also agree Miles Kane was brilliant, without knowing the songs they still sounded great and I am definitely going to investigate further.....I also like the fact he was enthusiastic about Beady eye and enjoying the tour!

His album is out in April, and there are loads of live performances of him playing the songs on YouTube and there good quality. I'd recommend to anyone that they give him a listen. Loves a good bigsby and that 60's fuzz sound.

i was there last night. A great concert. Far better than some Oasis concerts i've seen.
Last night i noticed Liam walk over to the side of the stage which caused loads of crushing.
And who were the two blokes up in the corner in the seats? They were mental. I'm sure one of them was Bez??

Haha we spotted those 2 guys as well, I'm sure they got carted off or at least told to calm it down, mentalists! Seen one little fight break out as well just behind the mixing desk and 2 guys pi**ing on against the wall in the toilets were kicked out haha, good night! Had a really good gig, was the most sober I've been for a gig in a long long time due to not starting the drink until 7pm and I have to say I'm pretty glad this was the case, stood just behind the desk and thought it was brilliant, was good to just stand back and admire the madness when I am the resurrection kicked in, reminded me of a good club in the mid 90's. was surprised to see a lot of younger people there but pleasantly surprised and also a lot more ladies at the gig than I was expecting, I was getting visions of it being full of the boys causing trouble but again, this wasn't the case. Musically it was brilliant and I have to say a lot more enjoyable than some of the gigs I'd been to with Oasis (14 in total). The last time I went to the apollo was for the noise and confusion tour which was probably the greatest gig I've been to: right down to the crowd chanting who are ya to Les Battersby haah, brilliant! For me, this was definitely up there among my more enjoyable gigs, The Morning Son was mind blowing..............

Feeling PRETTYfuckinGREEN right about now after reading all your reviews of this Manchester gig. From the I am the Resurrection sing along to The Morning Son. Fuckin August seems like such a long ass time away. Hopefully my American comrades appreciate BE and enjoy it as rowdily as our Brit counterparts.

Mondays (2nd night) show in Manchester was brilliant. I preffered this to the Oasis concert 10 years previous on the Noise & Confusion Tour. Beady Eye are tight, jamming, free flowing blues rock band. I'm seriously impressed. Liam is the balls. Great to see him infront of what to him is probably a small crowd. Intimate, raw and the business. I reckon on this form Beady Eye will be around for years to come.
