I know Liam G says they're boring, but come on it's not true! It's decent guitar music! And even Gem says he likes them (at least someone is beeing honest ) ( Only bad thing is that they're being hyped to much by the NME, but they can't help that.. ) Anyway I liked their music so wanted to check them out and have been to a gig in a small venue in Stockholm (like 250 capacity). It was AWESEOME! They're really good! So I wanted to share my vids with you guys Listen from 0:29 (sound is muted before, don't know why ) Album is out on 14th of March

I've heard they're really good live, but all of the tunes I've heard by them so far are booooooooring. I don't get the hype around this lot, but I'll wait for their debut to fully pass judgement.

Heard one song and I thought it was Editors/Interpol. Next.

I don't care if they're hyped or not or if Liam likes them or not. I like the few tunes I heard so far - nothing new, nothing too overexciting but decent guitar music.
Checking them out tonight. Guessing it's gonna be a decent night out....

Oh yeah, for those seeing them in April, check out Smith Westerns opening for them. They are a better band.

To be honest I can't stand all these indie bands with "the" in there name, there all 1 song wonders with no longevity or substance.....but I must say I quite like the vaccines, there album has really grown on me....wrecking bar is a belter (way to short) and the rest is good catchy rock n roll....I just wish they had a different name cos they'll get lumped in with all the shit bands with the in there names.....the horrors, the kills and every other shitty nme band. Will they follow this album with one equally as good if not better?, no new bands seem to be able to forge a career beyond there first album.

Liked 3 songs from the album. The last one most, Somebody Else's Child. Beautiful song. The rest was pretty boring to be honest.

wanted to give this thread a bump.
Really liking this album so far - easy to listen to, sharp and punchy. The longer and more mild tunes are done brilliantly too. A few boring spots on the album, but overall, it's great for what it is.
You can also almost hear Joey Ramone on tracks like wreckin bar and norgaard... a good thing.

Speaking of The Horrors, I just saw Cats Eyes - the side project of The Horror's front man, Faris Badwan - at London Calling on Friday and they were great. BTW, TheImportance, I'm seeing Tame Impala again next month

Hopefully their rescheduled dates are when I get back into town! Haha, is that your second or third time? I saw them again in April and they are an immensely improved band and they seemed so much more comfortable on stage! There's a lot of potential in those Aussies!

Good band, been listening a lot lately to their album and it's enjoyable. Seeing them at the 02 supporting The Monkeys in November.
